There is no conformitygate,
there is no good writing,
and there is no Queen of England.

The Duffer Brothers have revealed that there is a secret 9th episode
... but it happened off screen
conformitygate is the biggest cope I've seen
I think El found her eleventh reason and just dipped out in the end
Will, you may have an epilogue bf, but was meeting you the best thing he's ever done?
At the end of the day, Mike Wheeler was just the average teenage boy
Remember, we were not delusional. They knew what they were doing, they planned all the scenes and easter eggs, they wanted us to speculate, they didn't deny any possibility of Byler happening because they needed the viewers.
All that we are guilty of is coming up with these overly complicated theories, since we overestimated the writer's talent. I mean, a show which forgot its original themes and like half its characters wouldn't randomly throw in an absolutely genius portrayal of queer love.
What's the point of making your MAIN CHARACTER queer, if you're going to give them a background character as their partner?
Remember, we're not just making stories, we're changing lives.
And so all that we learned was that queer character development ends at shallow self acceptance, without the inclusion of love.
Dhar Mann would've been a better writer

How are we feeling?
I have no hope for the finale, but it's sweet seeing you guys keep going
People are starting to regret review bombing ep 7, because they think executives would take it as backlash against having open queer characters in general.
That's a flawed way of thinking, since we need to be honest with ratings. We can't pretend that something was done right when it wasn't. If we start up voting that ep, they would take it as positive feedback and we will only see more terribly written representation in the media. Is that what we want?
The solution would be to also focus on the other eps and down vote them as well, since ALL of volume 2 was garbage. This goes beyond just Byler, the story itself is disappointing and we need to speak our mind. That way, the ga would stop saying that we only care about our ship not being cannon and they'll realize that we care about the show's integrity in general, meaning that we would have a common goal.
The coming out scene felt like a gacha reaction video
screw it, gacha mike carries more emotion than the cannon version

Yeah guys, sorry for believing that the painting lie will get resolved and this will actually be important to mike's character arc and journey going forward... haha, silly me
... so are we going to ignore the fact that mike confessed his love to el, while picturing an idealized version of her (aka will)? Oh, we won't bring that up at all in s5? Cool.
imagine if they confirmed mike realizing he's will's "crush" because it will never get brought up again
