Tonight Hillary Clinton laid out her vision for America. It is a vision full of hopeful, progressive values, and a fundamental belief in the strength of the American people. My country amazes me. A female presidential candidate less than 100 years after women earned the hard fought victory of the right to vote. A former president addressed his party's convention, not as a party elder, but as a political spouse. The runner up in a contentious race officially nominates the person who beat him, and vows to fight for her. The work of perfecting our union continues. (at Bloomington, Indiana)

My heart is overflowing with passion for my country.
