Joel Kinnaman getting undressed in Altered Carbon
@griefvoiced @themonstrovs
‘ xeoth, what do you want, you sniveling rat? ‘ sylvanas focused a hard gaze on him, her brow pulling together, rage expressed in her features. ‘ i don’t want to live again. i am what i was made, and so are the forsaken. they would not so easily give up what they have gained. ‘
there was many things he wanted; none of them good. of course, he had hoped to come in peace -even if such a thing was impossible. ‘yes, the forsaken; pawns of the legion via the lich king. grasping for straws, but still alive in their own way. i just happen to wish to change that.’
November 25th,
While there have been many things going on lately, the number one problem i’ve been having is trouble with performance. For anyone who is reading these entries, I do not mean sexual performance, but rather on the field. Last night was when I had to deal with the Kor’kron training exercises and once again I failed. Of course, I was being rude; I made sure Nakster dropped and also the same for the other Pretorian. Did it make me horrible? Yes, but they deserved it. Nakster more than anyone else, but he’s not a Pretorian anymore, and I have already sent word to my Father about his demotion. Due to my performance lack of teamwork, I was instructed to make an essay about teamwork, and what I enjoyed about the other members of the Legion. It will get done, but not today. I have to deal with some very displeased illidari and Ka’dern has been silent for almost two weeks. Something has changed... I have to figure out what it is. - Xeoth
Some awesome RP tonight and thank you to all those helping bring back life to Moon Guard’s Horde.
@felthier @azriah (I don’t know if I have others tumblrs if you want to tag them!)
November, 18th
To say the course of the last few days have been enlightening are a massive understatement. Finding out Ames is alive is one thing, finding out he lacks his army another, and that spending time with the Kor’kron seems to be something I crave. Maybe it’s not the fighting, but simply knowing someone will back me up.
Either way, i’ve spend the last few days off world - odd when i think about it that way. I miss Ashier, but getting back there has been taxing since the fall of the Legion. I can’t simply make one portal - i have to use a network. Ka’dern think’s it’s funny, but by cutting through the Fel Hammer, I should be able to cut off most of the spell work. Besides, I could use the training.

@iuratus — from here.
‘ of course i care for my existence above all. but in caring for my longevity, others benefit. ‘ you couldn’t knock her if you tried — not even ka’dern. she regarded him coolly for a long second, one brow arched above red eyes. ‘ living is past. ‘
‘is it now?’ xeoth couldn’t help the grin that spread across his features. ‘then you don’t need any new... corpses do you? to receive the gift of undeath... one has to live.’ that much was obvious. ‘--- what if i was to tell you all the forsaken could live again? even you.... if you wish or do you truly hate life?’
themonstrovs replied to your post “November 10th - second entry. I write this in the hopes that it’s...”
( sylv: this is wrong on so many levels. ARTHAS. )
(Xeoth: OH SHIT!)
November 10th - second entry.
I write this in the hopes that it’s never read or maybe it should be read. For whatever I am; Magister, Warlock, Felsworn, Traitor, Dealmaker, and Son... I will still be a loyal Sin’dorei. The news w as obvious; I was to become the newest Judicial Minister. It was known already I would obtain my old position back. Who better than I? Who better than US. Ka’dern is pleased and I am as well. This is a few future for the both of us and maybe one day soon i’ll be free of him.One day, I may be even able to return to being Xeoth Blacksun, but not today. Not now - not while there are still threats that need to be taken care of. Not while Jesse Ames is still alive and the Alliance and Horde are at war. Not while there is a Battle for the very HEART of Azeroth.
- Xeoth
November 10th,
I write this before the meeting tonight as a reminder that things can change - even if it doesn’t seem like it. My former mentor, Jesse Ames is alive, and well. I thought he’d died with the Legion Invasion. It appears I was wrong. Very wrong. Still, I see no means to attack him out-right. I’m not that person anymore and I do hope he isn’t either.
Onto other matters, I received a promotion, and am now a Battlesworn of the Kor’kron. I also was offered the opportunity to eventually fight a Praetorian for their rank. It wouldn’t be anytime soon if I even went down that path, but it is a possibility.
However, my over-all goal is being a high ranking Judicial Magister again. I’m close - I can taste it. If I get this position, there will be a high chance i’ll have power again, and that will make me - and Ka’dern very happy.
Only time will tell what the future brings, but for now? I’ll remain being Felsworn... as a reminder of my past and what the future can bring.
- Xeoth
his spit landed hot and disgusting against her cheek, and sylvanas snarled, gripping his face even tighter. how dare he, how dare he. ‘ you won’t return. i will make sure of it. i will raise every powerful mage and wizard, and i will make sure that once you are gone, you are gone for good. ‘ she’d seek arthas out now, if she thought the once-lich king could help.
‘ you are the mud beneath my boot. this was an amusing moment, and nothing more. do not, for a second, not for a half a second think that you will best me, ka’dern. i have defeated bigger than you, and you too will fall. ‘ she turned xeoth’s face harshly to one side, and leaned in, sinking her teeth into his flesh, the flesh of his cheek. her bite is deep, and painful, and she closes her mouth as much as one is able without removing flesh. she pulls back, and spits out his blood, but smiles.
‘ you will remember me, sin’dorei. you will hate me more than you do now, and i welcome that rage on the battlefield. come, knowing you will die. come and fight, ka’dern. lay down your life for the forsaken, and redeem yourself. ‘ she shoved his head away, roughly, and stood up, stepping over him like he was nothing more than refuse.
‘ you are dead to the world, xeoth. your people have forgotten your name. you are nothing but the sound of leaves on the wind. ‘ she took her leave, into the night.
xeoth couldn’t deny that she could indeed make sure he wouldn’t return. with argus and the legion defeated, there wouldn’t be much he could do - it would take a while to return. if that all - maybe even looking like Loramus did now. it was a thought... he didn’t enjoy, but then again, what choice did he really have? not much or none at all in his mind.
‘--- yeah, well,’ his words were cut off as she bit down. he didn’t scream, but he knew a fact it was most likely going to get infected. if this was another time, maybe he would have said it was hot - very hot, but for now? it was just disgusting.
still, it wasn’t much he could do about it as he glared at her. silence would suit him well this time around. not saying a word due to the fact he knew the power she had and how this gamble may have just cost him everything.
she’d won the battle, but the war was still up for debate.
Joel Kinnaman in Altered Carbon, episode 08
' this is the sound of your impending demise. ' — from sylvanas.
‘--- doubtful.’ the legion may have gone, but that didn’t mean ka’dern didn’t have friends. it didn’t mean he couldn’t pull a mini-invasion event somewhere. it was exactly what he had done; pulled out all the stops as a distraction. to show that he still had power - that azeroth could still suffer if he chose to ignite the flames.
‘you may be many things sylvanas, but above them all you care for your own existence.’ he could have said more on the topic and yet... he didn’t not. instead, he shifted his weight from one foot to another and slid his hands behind his back. ‘ an existence that could be changed.’
his lips pursed into a thin-line. ‘what if i told you... it was possible for you to live once again?’

Welcome to the future.
A pity you can’t stop it.
You’re but a plaything, unfit even to amuse.
The darkness, it flows within me.
Come, I shall deliver you to your deaths.
I see through your disguise. You think you can fool me?
Alas. Sometimes one must take in one’s own hands.
You gambled… and lost.
I will break you as I broke him.
My demise accomplishes nothing!
You will drown in your own blood!
The world shall burn!
Step aside. You dabble in forces beyond reckoning.
I wish to fight, I can sit idle no longer.
If I die, I would rather be it on my feet!
If I die, let me die with you!
Leave only ashes and misery in your destructive wake!
We will rebuild this place, but no one will be able to put YOU back together.
How simple it was, to draw the great _________ out of hiding.
No one will save you.
Come forward, coward, and answer for your crimes!
Death is the only thing you will find here.
I saw the same look in his eyes when he died.
You have crossed into the world of the death.
Allow me to help.
You speak of justice?
I will show you the true meaning of fear.
Give into your fear…
We have all been witness to a terrible tragedy.
We must remain vigilant in our cause.
You are NOT prepared!
Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to play with fire?
This is the sound of your impending demise.
TALKING ON EVEN TERMS with anyone was rare. he knew the political clement of silvermoon. it thrived on distrust and who had a bigger axe to grind; he too played his fair share of games. some, lead to deaths, and others lead to the exile of innocent people. the point of the matter was many sin’dorei absolutely hated the thought of reuniting with their kin and others did not. it was a tricky situation, but one that was slowly starting to come together. if only in the way xeoth didn’t like. “a word is a powerful thing,” he said, arms sliding calmly behind his back. “it can make or break a person.” or maybe that was just in what he’d done for as long as he could remember. “— in this case, i don’t plan on fighting. i leave that for mostly the battlefields.”

without warning, the high elf was on top of him, pinning him to the floor with every ounce of undead power that coursed through her like lightning. her clawed hand was on his face, those sharp points digging into his face. the feliron was slick with her blood, and she had folded the bones of her hands together, little by little, until she was able to slip from them with ease.
sylvanas leaned in close, gripping his face hard, hard enough to break bone on almost anyone else. ‘ your father, ‘ she hissed, ‘ is one of the greatest men i know. he is more than you will ever be. he didn’t need to take on a pathetic parasite like ka’dern to exist, to survive, to thrive. ‘ she wasn’t so bothered by the torture, they had inflicted on her, the slices, the stabs — but speak ill of nelko blacksun, and sylvanas got enraged.
‘ i will disembowel you, xeoth, and i will wear your intestines as a necklace, and drag your empty corpse with me wherever i go, until it is falling apart. and then i will raise you, and kill you, and raise you again, and kill you again. i will do this as many times as it pleases me. this is over, whelp. ‘
he should have known things were going too easy. even as she pinned him, xeoth thought he was in the right and that he’d somehow get out of this. well, somehow... he just didn’t know exactly how at the moment.
as she spoke, xeoth couldn’t help, but spit right in her face. his father wasn’t great, he knew that from experience, and he wasn’t going to debate that. not now, not ever. ka’dern kept him alive, it was all that he could do to repay the favor of that, but at the same time at what price? did it really matter what he did anymore? yes... and he’d make sure that when he left here? he’d never return to azeroth. it just wasn’t worth it anymore.
‘you kill me and i’ll return stronger than before. we will return- so take your best shot. the legion may be gone, but i....’ he sucked in a deep breath than let it out with a grunt. ‘am not.’not by a long shot and not if he had any say in the matter.
