First head stand that I was able to hold for about 30 seconds 3 times! Proud of myself! Haven't been documenting progress but I've been doing a lot of yoga when I feel down. I also just bought a paint set and a journal to hopefully help with my depression. I've been struggling lately.
Weighted Russian Twist
Grab a medicine ball (try a five-kilogram one to start) and sit on the ground with your knees bent and your heels about two feet from your bum.
Lean slightly back without rounding your spine at all. It is really important to keep your back straight; this makes the move more difficult, but be sure you donât let your back round.
Hold the ball so it is in front of your chest and your palms are facing each other.
Pull your navel to your spine and twist slowly to the right. The movement is not large and comes from the ribs rotating, not from your arms swinging. Inhale through center and rotate to the left. This completes one rep.
Do 20 reps.
If you want to make the move more difficult, then try lifting your heels off the ground (like in the top photo).

Did 30 minutes of yoga and about 30 minutes of stretching for the splits. Should've gone running but it's late and I can't breathe from my allergies. Â Excuses excuses. Shame, Shame.
Doing this tonight. Whose with me?
Just did this. About to crash. Bet you wonât do it!
Meant to post this to this account lol
So I know I've started this popilates beginner month calendar like three times already but I started a Get Active challenge at work and I've got to walk 8k steps everyday and right now I'm averaging about half that on a normal day, so this activity will help that a lot! Â Since I'll be updating this challenge at work more, I will definitely be updating this with my progress as well, as I love all of your support more so than the people that are in this challenge with me. Â A lot of people on my team that are doing it are only doing it because the bosses asked them. Â I hope to really see a difference and start the habits I've been trying to start finally. With there being a competition to start it, I think I will hold myself to it more than before. Â I guess we'll see how it goes. Â Just did 30 minutes of yoga (a daily goal I set for myself on the challenge) .

All the feels
Spiced Hot Apple Cider
2c apple cider
2-3 slices of orange
1tsp ground cinnamon
1/2tsp ground nutmeg
1/4tsp ground cloves
Throw all ingredients into a pot and simmer for 3-5 minutes until hot. Stir occasionally. Once the cider is hot, remove the orange slices and you can either strain out some of the spices with a fine mesh strainer, spoon some of it off the top, or stir and drink as is.
If I was having guests and serving this for a party, I would probably pour it through a strainer. But for just me, Iâm fine with just spooning some of it off or leaving it alone. Iâm easy.Â
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and some orange slices.Â
