You know what to do with that big fat butt -
"Pardon me? I do not appreciate you commenting on the size of my rear or the fact you would like me to do something with it."
Fenix laid out each of his tools each with a meaning. Pills to ease the pain, blade to bleed the pain out like a venom that was infecting his brain and body. Then the bullet to put the final nail in the coffin.
Fenix looked at each tool and closed his eyes tight letting out a soft whimper “I.. i just want to see people again and I.. Maybe I can see them if I become like them…” He mumbled to himself and shuddered feeling a cold breath on his shoulder.
He quickly turned around grabbing his razor for a weapon “Who are you!?” He said panicked, he reacted like this out of panic.
Ivan took a step back seeing Fenix react he leaned back slightly as to avoid the blade even though it wouldn't hurt him. He reacted the same reason Fenix did, instinct.
"It is alright, I am Ivan, I am a fellow... Patient here like you are." He said looking over the pale and scared kid.
Fenix sat in a seemingly empty building listening to his demons fighting and clawing to get out. He trembled and shuddered as he shut his eyes and gripped his head “I don’t want to be alone! I can’t be alone..” He said and looked at the dresser drawer where he had hidden the thing that could allow him to be with his love forever if needed but this was a last ditch effort to be in contact with anyone and he was just about to do it.
Ivan was walking through the halls, hands clasped behind his back as he strolled. He didn't mind the quite he found it slightly comforting but still the place seemed unusally empty which was a shame because he didn't have his newly found friends to talk to, He walked down a hall on the second floor and heared movement and mumbling, he quickly walked to the room to see someone or something.
He stumbled upon a discheveled panicked boy laying things out on a desk. Ivan slowly moved up behind the boy looking at the things. Pills, a small razor blade, and a single bullet.
If Ivan didn't know what the boy was planning he did now, he frowned looking down at the boy and gave a soft sigh.
"I’d love to join you"
"So how are you and the mortal doing?"
"Nope, just wanted to stretch"
"I was thinking about going out for a bit.. Seems odd my want to go out into the world.. But I guess people have a way of changing you.. Would you like to walk with me?"
"Just stretching"
"Going for a run?"
"Is there a reason you’re staring at me?"
"Trying to figure out what it is you are doing"
Oh… This totally isn’t awkward
"Nope, not awkward at all."
Before she knew it, they got up and around to her room, Terra following the male with the projector. As she put them down, she realised they really were in her own room. “Hey, Ivan..” She started. “How come you know where my room is?” The girl barely spent any time in her room; most of her spare time was used wandering around since she hated staying still.
"Hm? Oh um.." He said looking over and looked down "Well after I told you about.. The ghost thing I wanted to make sure you were alright so I went invisible and watched over you for a bit, I remembered your room number, and I have traveled the place a few times and I just remember who is in what room."
Terra wandered next to him as they both went back up the stairs, the reels in her arms and the projector in his. “I’ll come see you.” She smiled over to him, knowing full well that she wished it to be a regular occurrence of sorts.
He smiled slightly and nodded "Good.. I am happy that I will be seeing you around.." He said looking at her, he made his way to her room and started setting up the projector to play on a wall.
Terra smiled back at him as she retrieved the reels from his hands. “Upstairs? So.. in the actual.. where abouts?” She questioned, tilting her head to the side.
"Yes my room is on the second floor" He said watching her as he carried the projector up the stairs "It is room 213, so if you ever need me I will probably be in there."
"I won’t forget you." Terra smiled at him gently, before glancing over to the bundle of materials. "Oh.. where do you sleep now?"
He smiled walking over carrying the box and reels. "And I won't forget you either." He smiled and looked at her "I have a room upstairs now."
The girl watched on as Ivan got the boxes out, and as he started walking around. “On your own?” She questioned, a small frown on her face.
"Yes, I was scared and didn't wish company.. I wanted to be alone.. Just wanting to be forgotten and move on.. I slept over there." He said looking at a pile of blankets and old clothes.
"Okay." Terra smiled as they walked, realising she had never seen a movie on a projector. "Do you often watch movies down here?" She questioned looking over at him.
"I use to watch one about once a week." He said going to some boxes lifting a black box out of the larger box, he put it on the ground and went through some reels.
Nodding, Terra smiled, listening to him as he talked about setting the projector up in her room. She wasn’t sure it was allowed, but after her run in with one of the doctors, she figured it wouldn’t be too bad. “Sounds perfect. Want me to carry anything?”
"I will carry the projector equipment I might need you to carry some movie reels." He said walking down to the basement
"Galen. Crazy. Got it." She chuckled slightly. "I just.. have to find people who know about ghosts. Right. Got it. I don’t fear you though. I don’t exactly.. understand your whole situation, but I don’t fear you." Terra smiled up at him. The contact between the two as they walked made the girl feel oddly safer, in a place that was tailored to make everyone better, to make them less crazy. It was strange, almost. "Oh, Pretty Woman’s a really good movie. But I don’t mind either."
He chuckled softly and watched her "I am happy you do not fear me.." The contact with her made him feel happy and her smile made him feel warm inside. "Alright, Pretty Woman it is." He smiled "We can set the projector up in your room and have a wall screen."
"I suppose. I just don’t like being told I’m even crazier. I-I’m not crazy, though, you’re right here in front of me, and we’re even touching, and.. I’m not crazy." She shook her head as she looked up into his eyes. "Okay. But.. you’re still choosing." She grinned, stretching and squeezing his hand.
He took her hand and looked her in the eyes. “Hey, I know you are not galen.. That’s Swedish for crazy.” He smiled “I am here, and that does not make you crazy.. But you telling people who haven’t seen me make them uneasy.. Like the saying goes, people fear what they do not understand.” He said standing up “So.. Try to talk about ghosts to people who know about us.” He raised a brow “If you want me to choose I have some I have been putting off watching, there is one called Spirited Away and one called Pretty Woman.” He said thinking as he walked holding her hand still.
