This is my girl Iva and also my attempt to give her a bit more of a „realistic“ version, so I can RP life action settings a bit better.
I also used the opportunity to do something that I had planned for a long time:
I gave the logo of the company she works for an upgrade!
The first, more simple version is now like a watered down version on uniforms and smaller prints, while the more detailed version is in universe used for signs on buildings and watermarks on documents and elements on finer, more ceremonial uniforms.
Speaking of uniforms, I also upgraded the colourscheme a bit:
I originally depicted her outside-mission-jumpsuit in this shade of green to make it look a bit more militaristic but I decided that that would be a bit too colourful with her purple hair, yellow goggles and the dark blue and saturated reds and oranges from the logo. So future iterations of this jumpsuit will be shown in this muted dark blue, black and greys you see her wear in the illustration.
I.S.C.H.N.O. stands btw for „Interworldly Supernatural and Creature Harzard Neutralization Operation“ and it‘s basically like the SCP Foundation but it doesn’t necessarily lock the monsters away, is run by morons now but was created by creatures like Ivané with the original purpose to negotiate with potential threats and coexist before destroying them.
Iva’s job in particular is mainly to find doors to other dimensions and worlds, open them and -if possible- live there for a bit to assess if they are safe for exploration or if the door needs to be destroyed. But let’s be real! They are short staffed, half the female staff decides to get pregnant during high seasons and hiring new (competent) people is hard, so from time to time she’s sidequesting like a queen.
Speaking of sidequesting:
I actually created this more semi realistic version and hairstyle for Resident Evil, so her hair and skin contrast isn’t as vibrant next to other characters from the series:
While yes, the version with the stripy hair is still too colourful for RE but that’s the point! I attempted a look that would make her somewhat work with the aesthetics of the game, while being completely out of place with her big eyes, full face of manic pixie dreamgirl make up and dyed, accesoirise hair to visually communicate that she’s not from there.
