honestly i am so ... tempted to just. archive this blog and move again. it’s getting harder and harder to write remi but i’m really trying to keep her muse alive because she means so much to me. remi was the first oc i ever really committed to here, and she’s how i met so many of my friends here ?

but my muse for her is really going down the drain because i just can’t. get any interactions with her. i can’t talk to people ooc. i hoped that this first move would have made it easier for me to approach people but i feel like it just made me more. unapproachable. i don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s just remi’s character ? i’ve edited and rewritten her bio so many times. i’m tired and i just want to be friends with people and i just want to share people with remi because she makes me so happy. i don’t know what it is, but remi as a character is just giving me heartache. i feel like i’ve lost all of the friends that made having remi worth it all. and. i don’t want to put remi away yet. i want to try one more time.

i think i’m going to archive this blog, make a new one, and just .. let it sit. while i remake and improve remi’s character. for the two millionth time.

i’m deleting my drafts. i’m taking a break from her. and i’ll be back here to give a url when i’m ready. thanks.

CHRISTMAS CHEER! ⎟SELECTIVELY ACCEPTING.

       remi walked back into the living room and quietly curled up next to mina with a low sigh, her fresh cup of hot tea firmly in her grasp. there was only five minutes left until the clock struck midnight, and remi was more than ready to snuggle close and fall asleep.

       but … the urge to give her a christmas kiss had bugged her since she woke up christmas eve. it was the only thing that kept her awake; the warm lights of the christmas tree, the cozy pajamas and the soft blankets, the quiet christmas music that still played from her phone … all of it seemed to prepare her for the perfect christmas dream. 

       she placed her cup down on the coffee table so that she could cuddle closer to mina. she rested her head on her shoulder and held mina’s free hand between her own. she didn’t know how mina could stay awake, and with so much energy ( perhaps it was all of the hot chocolate ) … she was lucky she was so cute when excited. ❛ it’s almost time, ❜ she hummed as she nuzzled her nose into her neck. ah, the temptation to kiss her senseless was too strong ! but a kiss right at midnight was special, wasn’t it ?

       as soon as the alarm on her phone went off, she placed a hand against mina’s cheek and delivered a tender kiss ( she tasted so sweet ! ). ❛ are you going to be able to sleep after so much hot chocolate ? ❜ she knew better than to ask. with a grin, remi kissed her cheek. ❛ hehe … merry christmas, mina. ❜

       just as she had hoped, there he was, exactly where they had agreed to meet. of course, it would have been easy to find her anyway — the navy blue sweater she wore under her wool coat was littered with small golden bells that twinkled with each excited step.

       ❛ toma ! ❜ she called out as she waved one of her hands over her head. as soon as she was close enough, she hugged him, and squeezed him as tight as she could. ❛ can you believe it ? it snowed ! i’ve never seen it snow around here ! ❜ she couldn’t help but be so excited — she had always wanted to feel the magic that came with a white christmas ! she had purposely avoided the center of downtown, just so she could be surprised by all of the lights.

       ❛ where do you wanna see first ? ❜ personally, she would go wherever they could squeeze in. the streets were crowded with last-minute shoppers, but remi was out and about simply to enjoy the beauty of the season. besides … she had already gotten him a thank you gift for joining her ! ❛ all of it looks amazing ! i guess we better hurry before it gets too dark, though … ❜ she was sure toma had others he wanted to celebrate with, and she figured that if the snow was light now, it could only fall heavier the later it got.

       ❛ but before we go … i have something to give you ! ❜ she fished the small wrapped gift from her coat pocket and held it out to him with an excited wiggle. ❛ you can open it whenever you want. ❜ she grinned as she linked arms with him. ❛ now lets go ! ❜

⌨ - time-wasting habits ❅ - keeping warm/keeping cool techniques ✎ - taste in music/literature

⌨ — time-wasting habits.

remi’s a bit of a busy body, but when she does have time to waste, she loves to nap? she loves squeezing in as many ten minute cat naps as she can. she can also get sucked into her laptop if she finds something fun to read or watch.

❅ — keeping warm/keeping cool techniques.

keeping warm! remi loves to layer, with her usual combination of turtleneck, sweater, and jacket. she’s also a big fan of wearing patterned socks and colorful tights. aside from clothes though, remi will have a travel mug of tea or hot chocolate, and hand warmers. she always has extra hand warmers, in case anyone needs a few!

keeping cool! remi’s warm weather wardrobe is her favorite, so she usually keeps cool with her favorite dresses, skirts, and sandals! other than that, she usually enjoys making herself lemonade, and loves being able to keep all of her windows open!

✎ — taste in music/literature.

her taste in general is rather varied, albeit a bit on the traditional side. she loves any kind of classical music, past and modern, but she’ll listen to anything that inspires how she writes her own music. she’s a little more picky with literature ( she prefers croatian literature, as it’s still easier for her to read ), but she enjoys the classics and fairytales!

Ice skating had always looked so easy, but Joey was learning that the ice was no friend of his. His legs felt like unsteady jelly, like those of a newborn fawn, and he latched onto one of Remi’s hands as if it was his only lifeline. 

“A-A-Ah–!! Remi!” If he let go now, he’d probably just topple. “How do people do this? It looked just… easy on the olympics!” 

      ❛ nothing’s ever as easy as it looks, joey, ❜ she said as she squeezed his hand. ❛ but you’re doing really well ! you’ve fallen way less than when i tried for the first time. ❜ remi was no expert on ice either, though. sure, her years of rollerskating gave her a definite advantage, but ice was still different ! they were both still learning together ! ❛ would it be better if i skated in front of you ? you can hold my hands and i’ll guide you ! ❜

Sanghoon covers her eyes with a hand, pulls down his mask with the other. Then simply, blows a raspberry on her cheek.

       her shoulders jumped at the sudden darkness of his hand, but there would be no doubt that he would be able to feel the broad grin that spread across her face soon after. she allowed the pencil to fall from her hand onto her scattered array of notebooks, and the weight of her stress to escape through a long, heavy sigh. the raspberry caused her to squirm a bit ( she had always been very ticklish ), and she laughed. nothing shrill or excited, but it certainly bubbled and sparkled with an innocent energy that revealed how happy she was to receive his little “ gift. ”

       she leaned back to rest her head against his chest. she made no move to push him away; instead, she raised a hand to rest on top of his. she merely pressed the back of his hand with her palm before she drummed her fingertips against his knuckles.
