Her tongue caught between her teeth as she smiled to herself. Just when she expected not to be found; he found her. Perhaps he did cling to the shadows too closely for her liking, but she did enjoy the element of surprise.

“I trust you as much as I trust Aethena,” she answered, turning around to face him. Her hands remained stuffed in her leather jacket as she gave a playful curtsy. “Hello, Dark. Missed me?”

"Of course I did."

Dark didn't stay in the shadows once she'd acknowledged him, standing in her path with his hands folded behind his back. It'd been a while since they'd seen each other and while Dark didn't worry himself with where she'd run off to, he was hesitant to admit he'd missed her. He'd tell her he missed her, of course, but he'd actually meant it and that bothered him to a slight degree. Still, no reason to worry himself over it now.

Instead, his lips lifted into a smile and he dropped his hands from behind his back. "Though I am a bit hurt you didn't tell my goodbye," he teased.
