Party for Two
Lavi hummed, amused, as he repositioned his arm to wrap around her shoulders so she could lean a bit more comfortably against him. With his free hand, he popped the tab on his beer after some fair effort, and took a sip from it before letting out a content sigh and setting it back on the coffee table.
"Alright, Legs, whatever you say," he said, nudging one of his knees against her leg for emphasis, "I’ll have to take your word for it and hope these movies are as good as you say they are. I’m expecting intense gore and like— guts flying every where. If I don’t scream before the night is through, I won’t be satisfied."
“Well, I don’t recall any guts flying everywhere in this movie, we’ve got plenty of creepy doll puppet things.” Ilaria grinned at the nudge against her legs and took that as an invitation to attempt to get closer. “Gotta love creepy doll-puppets.”
The blonde-with-red-highlights finished off her first slice of pizza and sipped at her beer for a moment before reaching for another slice.
She looked thoughtful for a moment. “…I really am glad you came, Lavi.”
Perhaps the costume thing was a poorly planned idea. She was finding herself very cold.
