Introduction Post!

Hello everyone, welcome to the blog.

I'm Dani (also known as Dee, IVX, dumb ass, etc.), I'm 20, and I still can't read.

I'm a self taught artist and game dev, I go to school for engineering because who doesn't like torture am I right? Up top. No? Ok.

Some of my hobbies include drawing, watching movies, cooking then setting everything ablaze, and crocheting.

I'm lesbian and go by she/they pronouns!

My favorite tvs/movies include Jujutsu Kaisen, Pretty Little Liars, The Last of Us, Narcos, Breaking Bad, and any horror movie in general (I'm a big horror fan).

My favorite games are Marvel Rivals, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fortnite, Unison League, Arsenal on Roblox, and also Call of Duty (gaz ilysm).

Some pretty cool things about me are my disgusting lack of movie and tv knowledge, if you mention almost any series, 9/10 I haven't watched it, and I own some rare my little pony McDonald's toys. Apparently. Idk. I pronounce iron weirdly too so there's that.

Living with BPD is an absolute nightmare. I've never opened up on my Tumblr blog because I felt vulnerable but hopefully this helps someone... or if you want to see me shit post.

I was diagnosed with BPD this year and although my diagnosis is being reworked (aka they misdiagnosed me), the label terrifies me. The stigma around such serious health conditions especially in a small conservative town gets me weird looks and judgement, even from my community. Im often seen as someone who could flip almost immediately or as crazy. My mental health has improved thanks to being medicated (finally), but every once in a while I cry over my mental state. I reflect on my past and the blaring signs that something was wrong, but I so much want to convince myself that im "normal."

I wanted to convince myself that I have a normal life and a normal brain, that im more than my mental illness but its become increasingly difficult. As this year closes, I want to improve my self esteem and hopefully be correctly diagnosed, but most importantly, I want to live life as best as I possibly can. I want to have a year where my mental state doesn't get the best of me and where Im more than my mental illness, even if whatever label still brings a bit of fear in my heart, I will do my absolute best to not let that fear take over me.

So to end this on a short and sweet note, you're more than your diagnosis.

Right now my ultimate goal is to code THoD (stay tuned for that) and for my trio to be proud of our big project. Until next time!

THoD UPDATE!!!

Hello everypony! Admin 🔥 here, we have a couple exciting announcements:

THoD is becoming a visual novel!! We're planning on creating a visual novel instead of the comic series that we originally planned. It'll be in a point and click style so very excited... to code... haha..

More updates will be shared in the next couple of weeks. We do not have a set date of release yet but we will keep the 4 of y'all who follow this blog updated!

We have also decided to separate ourselves from the MLP franchise for this project as this gives us more creative freedom, and us 3 don't got no damn lawyer money that's for sure.
