4th of July is also known as Independence Day. The day New Romantics become independent from the record labels that have kept them in hiding and silenced.
That said, Taylor has been extremely in high support of Sombr lately and it has been rumored that she is starting her own safe record label for new romantics and that Sombr is to be signed.

Then in Benson's MV that came out the same day, we see him about to marry someone else until he loses himself in a daydream and imagines himself running away from the wedding to be with someone else. Now does that sound familiar? It should as It's literally the plot of Speak Now
And it doesn't stop there because the daydream muse that Benson wishes to run away with was made to look exactly like Karlie
Because Benson represents Taylor, the same way Sombr represents Taylor. And both times the muse is a brunette that either looks exactly like Karlie or leads back to Karlie's birthday to still have the same implication, centered around a wedding and the 4th of July
Oh and how can we forget that following Benson's Speak Now themed MV, Taylor's crew members were spotted wearing Speak Now Tour shirts and a KISS lanyard, which refers back to Taylor performing "Kiss A Girl" with Keith Urban in her OG Speak Now era while she was wearing KISS makeup
