Isn't Taylor MAGA?
No. She's only ever endorsed Dem candidates and all of her expressed political opinions are pro gay, pro black, and anti Trump.
Why does this matter?
As queer people it's imperative to hold our signals/codes/ and flagging sacred. You don't have to care about Taylor's use specifically but calling it delusional or denying that they are flags is erasure of our culture and history. You don't need to think she's gay if you don't want to. But it's important to keep our culture alive especially as we face harsher societal conditions.
