Headcanons:
Simply put: They both go from preferring to top to no preference over their relationship.
Jimmy:
- This man is insecure as hell. At first he doesn't want to bottom at all. I feel like his first time bottoming was a lazy birthday present to Curly.
- Actually liking it left him feeling humiliated and emasculated. Of course those feelings weren't properly communicated.
- When Jimmy caught feelings, his hatred for Curly spiked. Jimmy would take his spite out on him during sex. It was all consensual, but sometimes less than fun for the both of them.
- When the two properly got together and Curly helped Jim improve his life (and as such, get over a lot of his issues), Jimmy got more comfortable with bottoming.
Curly:
- He didn't have a preference before he began sleeping with Jimmy.
- At first it was all fun. Some good, rough sex between bros.
- It wasn't really the sex itself that did it. It was the feeling after. Jimmy would visit him, they'd fuck, and then he'd leave.

- His preferences changed again after they got together and the sex got healthier. They learned to take each other's wants and needs into consideration and all's well that ends well.
