TL;DR BIO
Ivy St.James is her mother’s daughter with all the more ambition and all her father’s unfiltered mean energy. Ivy thrives in the attention she gets from excelling in the performing arts. She also thrives under the lifelong pressure put on her to be the cream of crop and so far, she’s been pretty successful. ICY St.James is not one to mess with. Despite this cold exterior, she has a soft heart. Since high school, Ivy has become more polished, generally improved when it comes to biting her tongue, and does her best to give the world a kinder disposition. After all, starring in a Broadway Show at 18 has resulted in a lot of eyes on her. . .

THE PAST TWO YEARS. . .
Born under a lucky star, it seems that no matter how many times Ivy slipped up in High School, everything seemed to turn out alright. Whether it be an abortion her Sophomore Year, or a bad break up resulting in a transfer to Carmel High her Junior Year, Ivy always seems to come out of things okay. Some might call it luck, others might call it manipulation, but Ivy likes to think she finished out High School on a high note because she truly grew as a person. Sure, she’s still got a venomous bite, but as she became more comfortable in herself, there became less of a need to snap out of others. Leaving behind the words of one of her many musical icons, Marina Diamandis, I feel like I’m the worst, so I always act like I’m the best, Ivy now (for the most part) feels like the best, and acts, publicly, on her best behavior.
After a senior year of her dreams, Ivy did get accepted into NYADA, but another opportunity arose. The Wild Party on Broadway at The Winter Garden Theater. Her father had heard through a friend they were looking for fresh faces to help promote the show. The last two months of high school, it seemed it was constant back and forth between Lima and New York for rigorous auditioning. Just before graduation, she got the call that she’d been casted as an ensemble member, but more importantly, the lead’s understudy. Much less competitive than she had been in high school, this was a huge win for Ivy. This was actual Broadway!
Within the first couple of months of their run, the lead performer for Queenie, a woman by the name of of Yvette Hanlon got sick (she was like, super pregnant) and Ivy was thrust on the stage to accept the life that she was always destined to have. With Yvette proving to be unreliable, and Ivy having brought the house down, the next day Yvette was out the door, and Ivy was on the stage to begin an actual career.
Ivy currently resides in a one bedroom apartment on 33rd street by herself, and while she’s loving that her name is abuzz around the city and on the internet, over the year she’s slowly been finding herself more frustrated with the differences in her life style than that of her friends having fun in colleges who go out to parties whenever they feel like it, spend every day together, and more recently went on a trip for spring break while she worked. Every moment of her rising star has been phenomenal, but as of late, those differences have been weighing heavier on her.
