Jamilliam smirks smirkingly as he kabedons the small heir.

"Kalim-chan... I can smell your deliciousness from here..."

"Kyaaaa, Jamil-sama! W-What do you mean!" squeaks Kalim, as he trembles waifishly against the wall.

Jamilliam chuckles smexily and swoops in closer and sniffs the pearlette.

"You just started you're heat didn't you... Don't lie to me... I can tell. Because I'm Jamil Viper."

Kalim looks at him with astounded amazement and squeals loud like a trapped mouse. "Wow Jamil-sama! Y-You're so strong and intelligent and powerful and handsome! I can't believe it!"

Jamilliam takes the small and trembling Kalim into his arms and pets the greynette on his head.

"Donot worry, Kalim. I'll help you..." he says as he tears open a pack of heat suppressants with his teeth and then he puts the pill between his teeth and then kisses Kalim so it goes into his mouth through the kiss, "Is that better?"

"M-M-M-My first kiss...?!" Kalim says, turning bright read.

"Heh.... Every part of you is mine." Jamil says possessively and also while holding the pearl-greynette tight still. Kalim closes his eyes and snuggles him. Now that he knows he belongs to Jamil-sama he will be safe forever and ever.

I hope this event makes people realize that Jamil isn't really a cool and suave smooth talker... The only person in NRC who thinks he's super cool is like. Kalim. Kalim thinks anything Jamil does is cool (aside from when he's betraying him but he does think his Overblot form is cool) and even if Jamil fumbles something, Kalim will manage to see it positively (he even took the fight in Book 7 as something good). But he's really the only person who thinks that.

Every other named NRC student is unimpressed with him (aside from Rook but like Kalim, he just focuses on the positive). Leona thinks he's being childish. Vil describes him as super plain. Others think he's a pain to deal with or fun to bully. And yet the fandom keeps trying to convince me he's super cool... But he isn't really...

It's fine Jamil, Kalim thinks you're the coolest guy ever.

From what Jamil said, it seems Minajael has been allowed to attend high school... But Kalim had to stay home until he went to NRC huh. Minajael running away from home from time to time is pretty well-known by the media and Kalim has to be wary of everything. And despite apparently having been raised so differently, they're still held back by the same old customs that Minajael wants to fight against while Kalim has accepted his fate... Doomed cousins huh

This is highly unlikely but what do you think Jamil would do if he’s under the impression Kalim is in love with someone else? Or just in general really close to anyone who namely, isn’t him lmao

Hello stupid baka life anon, sorry it took me so long to answer that ask m(_ _)m

I think this could actually be highly likely given Jamil looks like the jealous type 🙂‍↕️ He frames the feeling as just annoyance because Kalim is too trusting and is too easy to take advantage of which is why he doesn't like seeing Kalim hang out with other people (though I think some students are "safe" like Lilia, Cater or Riddle). That's his job as a servant to protect Kalim so he makes a point to always be nearby to watch over Kalim in case something happens (nothing happens) but it just ends up pissing him off because Kalim is having fun! Smiling at someone who isn't him! He's annoyed at Kalim, at the other person and at himself. So he'd probably make excuses to call Kalim like telling him he's got home/paperwork to do or reluctantly saying he can cook with him tonight, etc... To keep him apart from others. Normal servant things. He likes his alone time without Kalim but he hates people taking his place next to Kalim even more. Jamil's normal.

If he thinks Kalim is really in love with someone else, I could see him going further than that though. Poor little Kalim has never been in a relationship 😔 He wouldn't know what to do if it hit him in the face 😔 So obviously, his incredibly nice and competent servant will take care of him and teach him everything there is to know, from kissing to other important things (note from the narrator: Jamil has 0 relationship experience). He's trying to make Kalim more dependent on him by associating pleasure with Jamil but I think Kalim would just be overjoyed Jamil likes him enough to do that with him. In the end, everyone is happy (?) so it's fine.

I wrote Hanahaki a few years ago (with Jamil not knowing anything about it though) but if he knows about it... Well, I think he'll want to force Kalim into telling him who that is (would he use Snake Whisper? I don't think so because the answer would scare him hehe) and if he doesn't (because he obviously won't), he'll try desperately to redirect Kalim's affection from the mystery person to himself. It's manipulation like when I said he'd trick Kalim into doing things earlier, but I think this one would be more out of desperation (despite everything he doesn't want Kalim to die) than pure jealousy (though he's still jealous onbiously).

Hope Jamil got thrown long enough into the emotional blender to satisfy you ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )

alternatively, kalim who follows jamil blindly, who yearns for jamil's 'fire' but knows he won't ever love himself back due to the imbalance in their status

'Instead, I made a bed with apathy' -> became apathetic to his feelings toward jamil

Crazy how Jamil was once so good at being a tsundere that some people still think he truly hates Kalim. Like, at some point in the story, he could hide his feelings just fine!

Afterward... Helping Kalim during Book 5 and wanting to stay in the same room if possible? He's just doing his job probably. That scene in Book 6 when Kalim tackles him to the ground and fusses over him while he barely complains? Well. A little weird but let's say that the circumstances lead themselves to him accepting what he wouldn't usually.

Now, Book 7? When the darkness in his dream world takes the form of Kalim who calls him Jamil-sama? Who fusses over him and offers him everything he wants?? Who says he'll be by his side all his life??? And when entering other people's dreams, Jamil proceeds to not care about anyone's OOC behavior until Kalim is affected????

Then Book 7.5 arrives with a steel chair to show him bullying Kalim in broad daylight only to gaze and smile fondly at his back when he leaves.

The closet is so transparent it might as well just not exist anymore. No amount of pretending to still be a tsundere who hates Kalim will help Jamil now.
