When you're up to taking requests again, could you write something about Nestor and his S/O taking Spyro out to a fair/carnival?

Sounds good! I'll keep it in my notes for when I finally finish up this other thing and start writing again. Don't want to make any promises but it should be soon... ish.

I'd love to see some of your headcanons for a dragon you haven't written any for yet.

Well, one of the dudes I've been itching to write about is Enzo.

I've got him pinned down as this kinda lazy, "only here cause I have to be" kinda Dragon.

And because of this, when he see's his S/O while he's on his shift he gets really excited (although he pretends he isn't).

And of course, when this happens, he pays more attention to them than he does his job, so his S/O has to keep him on track.

My major headcannon for him is that he's a Peacekeeper just because he's kinda built for it. Absolute unit of a Dragon that looks like he's a fighter.

Maybe it's a stretch, but it seems like a fun personality to give him.

Whats your favourite MH monsters if u are able to date them?

There's too many.

But for my top picks it would Narga, Tigrex and Brachy. My absolute #1 pick for most databable monster is a tie between Lagiacrus-cause Tri was my first MH game, and I love them- and Nerg, since he's just such a good boy, both design wise and personality wise, if the latter makes sense.

On the subject of Eldrid, have you got any headcanons for him?

Obviously incredibly smart, probably one of the smartest, if not the smartest Dragon in his culture.

Prefers science to magic, which others find less impressive right up until the point they actually see what he can do.

Has a very charming accent that goes well with his way of talking, and smarts.

Likes to test his S/O with trivia from time to time, and being cartoonishly ecstatic when they get the answers right (clapping, praising, etc)

As said before, he's good with kids mostly because he's been teaching hatchlings forever, and knows how to work with them.

Honestly just seems like he has a really jolly, upbeat attitude all the time.

I'm good.

Just kind of obsessed with something else at the moment so I'm doing that more than thinking about Dragon dads.

I'll answer all the asks I have tomorrow though! And maybe finally push myself to write more for those last drabbles I promised.

I can definitely see Lindar as someone who loves his jokes. From what little is seen of him in the first game he's completely full of sass, amused by busting Spyro crawling around in one of his clocks in the credits, and it seems that a lot of people headcanon him as being a talented prankster. On the other hand, it's clear he's got a soft side because as soon as that baby dragon in YOTD's ending hatches he melts into an absolute sook.

I don't have much to add since you pretty much hit all the right points here, lol.

But yeah, Lindar seems like he'd like his fair share of teasing and stuff, but it'd never bother anyone since it's just so obvious he cares.

Do you think Spyro Ember Cynder and Flame can all have adventures together?

I'm inclined to say yes since there's pretty much no reason why a bunch of Dragon teens shouldn't be able to hang out and do stuff together.

Although if we're taking Skylanders and stuff as canon maybe Cynder's dad might have an issue with... Well, everything about that.

Can you tell us about any headcanons you have for Mudada?

Obviously Mudada is a huge advocate for hugging his S/O, regardless of what they're doing or even what he’s doing. If he feels like it, and they’re in range, it's hugging time. 

Probably doesn’t go out much and prefers to stay inside, but that doesn’t really make him sad since most of that time inside is spent with his partner! (By request)

Wears his emotions of his sleeves most of the time. If he’s feeling sad about something he’ll tell his S/O and if he’s feeling affectionate he’ll just act on those feelings. 

Great at knitting! All of the stuff he makes has tons of care put into it too. And yes, of course he gives some of his creations to his S/O as presents.

Hey, have you got any headcanons for Lindar?

Lindar to me seems like he'd be really attentive to his S/O, and also be completely on point with remembering special dates and stuff. He'd already be planning for your sixth month anniversary one day after your first one, stuff like that. 

Seems like a Dragon that takes his craft more for fun than being something he takes super seriously. He's still talented of course, but he'd definitely make a completely ridiculous design for a clock just to see if he can make it work, and also just for a laugh. 

I also feel like maybe he still feels a little bad for the whole "everyone's a statue" situation, so he might not do anything on some days he remembers it and instead just stays inside. He’d call his S/O over, and they’d just spend the day together. (This makes him feel a ton better about the whole thing.)

Despite this, he'd probably still like just joking around with his S/O. He seems too happy not to like a good laugh now and then.

So was surfing through and saw that ask someone made about a story involving babysitting, but couldn't think of a dragon that'd work well for it at the time - you mentioned that Eldrid would probably be fond of kids, and you haven't written anything with him yet so I figured he'd be a good candidate. Either that, or someone like Argus, Gildas, Mudada or Copano.

That's actually a really great idea and I will absolutely be doing it.

Eldrid himself is pretty cute as well so it totally works out!

I'd definitely love to make a drabble request sometime if I manage to think of one that might be good.

It's probably good. And even if you think it isn't, you should totally still tell me in someway because I love hearing other people talk about these guys. Especially now since all the hype around them has kinda quited down.

Don't sweat it now though! I have no idea when I'm gonna be asking for prompt's again, but I definitely will do it.

Really loved the Cyprin/Magnus/Lyle drabble. Would love to see more with multiple dragons

I'll keep that in my mind when I start accepting prompt's again! I'm happy people like the story, I really tried to make sure all three Dragon's got equal "screentime."

Are there any dragons that you think Spyro would get upset with if they got into a relationship and started spending less time with him in favour of with their partner, something akin to a child being jealous of their parent giving them less attention?

Spyro's an Artisan, so I think if any of the Dragon's from his group started dating he'd be a bit angry with having to share time.

Cause if we really look at it, Spyro totally lucked out by being born at a time where he's like, the only young Dragon around; he's surrounded by dads at all times, and has probably never had to share attention with any of them.

But I think Nestor getting into a relationship would get him the most upset, since he's most likely the strongest father figure he has. Being the Leader of the Artisans, he'd be a little more invested in Spyro's growth than the others.

Him suddenly wanting to spend more time with someone else would undoubtedly make him a bit upset.

Oh sweet, you wrote some more drabbles!

Yeah! And they're kind of fun to do, too. People have ideas I'd never think of, and I really like taking their two sentence prompt and turning it into a story, even if some do take me longer than usual. I wanna do it again sometime.

Which dragons do you think would be good with kids?

Well there's a lot of Dragon's that could be good for this, so I'll just answer with what I think is the best Dragon from each world. 

For Artisans, Argus would definitely be the best with kids. Even with the small amount of cutscenes that we get with the Reignited Dragons, you can see Argus taking care of the hatchlings and he clearly knows what he's doing. 

For Beast Makers I think Lyle has the best chance? He's a lot less rough looking than the other Dragons in his group. Plus he already seems pretty friendly, so that would make him easier to approach. 

Magic Crafters is a bit tough to pin down, but I have a feeling Eldrid would know how to handle them. He gives off the 'cool teacher' vibe, so he'd be a good fit.

For Dream Weavers, it would definitely be Lateef. I think I've said this already but he seems really nice and easy to talk to. And he seems like he has endless patience. 

Peace Keepers for me is probably the hardest for me to choose from since I can't see any of the Dragon's from here ever being mad at anyone. Like they look tough but at the same time they'd most definitely smile at any kids who come their way. Buuuuuut... I'll just say Magnus. He'd be the cool fun dad that all the hatchlings like to hang out with.

I decided to finally start doing these year old prompts I’ve had! I think it’s a good way to get back into writing while I figure out the next Dragon I wanna make a story about. 

Anyway, the completed prompts were as follows: 

A sleepover with Cyprin, Lyle, Magnus and the reader, which I finished at around 2.3k words. (And is incredibly shameless and tooth-rootingly fluffy, seriously. But if that’s your thing, I hope you’ll enjoy this.) 

Bubba asking the reader if he wanted to go with him to a festival, which is also a date, finished at around 1.5k words.

Other prompts might have drastically different word counts depending on how I make up a story, and what I think “feels” complete to me. Hope you enjoy these for now though!

I don't know why, but I've started liking the idea of Copano and Mudada being a couple. Something about a pair of chubby, gentle-looking Dream Weavers who can probably give some of the best hugs in existence just seems nice.

Yeah they certainly seem like they have good chemistry together. Also, they contrast well together since Mudada has a very drowsy/sleepy type of speech and Copano's super awake and static.
