Our Favorite Spring Fashion Trends
This spring shoe lovers can look forward to comfortable shoes. Designers emphasized wearability and ease, delivering flatforms and block heels, a large Ā selection of flats, dressed up with fringeand embellishment so you don't even have to feel guilty about not wearing yourheels.
Flats: Ā Try gladiator style
Mules: Gofor a nude option, you can wear them with anything
Not surprisingly florals are once again hot this spring. Chanel, Marni and Miu Miu offered modern florals for todayās modern woman. Think big, bold and unabashedly feminine.
Florals: Are here to stay
Investment piece: Embroidered floral letterman jacket
Fringe is more detailed than ever before. Designers have taken things to a whole new frontier withĀ fringed dresses that edge on evening-wear status.
Investment piece: Fringe evening gown
Sheer fabrics are never going away. Ports 1961 and Roberto Cavalli and Ralph Lauren led the charge with daring and shockingly feminine sheer looks on the spring 2015 runways. I love the fluffy skirts from Ralph Lauren. Sheer fabrics jazz up tops and dresses and make us feel like we're wearing nothing, which is pleasing.
Sheer: Always and Forever
Investment piece: Fluffy sheer skirt (Carrie Bradshaw style)
This is your lucky year, brides to be. Spring and Summer 2015 runways were filled with a variety of gorgeous white tones on everything from mini-dresses to Victorian-era looks with a modern edge. My favorite runway looks: Louis Vuitton, Erdem and Givenchy.
Bridal White: Head-to-toe is the way to go
Investment piece: White dress
Lots of black and white pieces hit the run way for spring. Chunky earnings and rope belts were everywhere.Ā
Investment piece: black and white, block bag.
