"what makes you believe that the turn to the right in latin america is influenced by america and not their own fascism"
well, the united states' government is outright admitting it, for starters
If you want more info on this look into Operation Condor. It was an operation in the 70s/80s where the US just destroyed every communist movement in Latin America and replaces them with right wing dictatorships. That's where we get the juntas in Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, and Ecuador that all massacred civilians in the name of foreign capitalists and anti-communism. Operation Condor doesn't even include other coups orchestrated by the US like the ones in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama which all happened across the 20th century for the same reasons.
I don't know about you but I was very explicitly taught about this in my American history class, although it was of course justified by my teacher as "crazy stuff that happened in the Cold war" and "justified to stop communism". Regardless y'all should know the crimes of your forefathers and the crimes that are still happening NOW. Javier Milei and Bolsonaro are not isolated incidents, they are a part of a long legacy of American backed far-right governments.
