I’ve seen the preview and 5 minutes of Love Alarm and I’m desperate for a YOI fic about it. Where social media hermit Katsuki Yuri refuses to download the app and drama queen heart throb Victor is intrigued as to why his alarm never goes off when he’s around.
I hadn’t heard about Love Alarm before this ask. I went looking for a trailer and now I’m super desperate for a YOI fic for it too! ♥♥
I can just imagine all the drama in the skating world. Victor definitely has the world record number of alarm rings.

Yuri is secretly into Otome Games and Yuuri and Victor Are his Charakters. Only he’s missing music, so he posts an early build online and hopes someone will offer to help, which comes with hobby musician Otabek. They meet and get along well until Yuri begins to crush on Otabek, weaving his feelings into his characters and music requests. Will Otabek catch on? Haha
I can also imagine Otabek figuring it out before Yuri does...

Hey! I might have sent you an ask years ago, but im still looking for this fic i read in 2016 and its been HAUNTING me. Its an AU where Viktor is a semi famous figure skater and Yuuri is a fan of his who just skates for fun in his home rink and works there and Viktor comes to his town and hijinx ensues. I remember a lot of good phichit moments, one where he and yuri layed on the ice and phichit is goofing off like theyre in a cheesy teen movie. Any ideas???

This is a tricky question to answer @a-midnight-luna, because one of our mods wrote a reverse au (called A Second Life), where Victor manages to persuade living legend Yuuri Katsuki to become his coach.
Our unbiased rec is for another reverse AU (which just happens to be inspired by the same artist! @doodlesonice): Katsudon for Gold, featuring coach Yuri Plisetsky, his student Yuuri Katsuki and his student’s rival Victor Nikiforov.

Thanksgiving is soon! What would the crew do during that time? I’m guessing since they’re competing, they don’t really have a lot of time and travel to places
Sorry for answering this so late! I can see some of the skaters celebrating Thanksgiving depending on where they live or used to live (and skaters like Leo and JJ would celebrate it at different times). But what I can definitely see all the skaters getting ready for (apart from all the competitions) is Black Friday. Every year Victor beats everyone in a new sport called Black Friday Shopping. He knows where all the best deals are. He comes back with the most purchases. He’s also the one with the weirdest ones.
“Why did you buy a giant inflatable pencil, Victor?”
“Because it’s the colour of your eyes, Yuuri.”
