Lilith was born on Friday evening however, as things often do in life, not everything went according to plan, it was discovered that she had an extremely low blood sugar, and despite the nurses best effort they didn't improve this lead to her being transferred to intensive care where after numerous tests, scans & X-rays it's been discovered she has an infection in her bowel. We've been informed that she is now on a course of 3 different antibiotics & NBM until such time they can ween her back onto milk All the staff have given a positive prognosis and have all gone above and beyond with our little girl, it'll take some time for her to get better but she's a fighter #nicubaby #nhs #newbornbaby (at Newport, Wales) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTLM4EEo_00/?utm_medium=tumblr
