Thinking of Phantom again and just came to a realisation. Phantom was banished to Bilewater right? How exactly are they prevented from leaving? They're definitely capable of handling enemies and Grand Mother Silk is in a deep slumber, she can't just leave to force Phantom back in, but then it hit me.
You know one of the most hated parts of Bilewater aside from Groal? The Muck Maggots, what do they do?
They sap your silk. Phantom can't leave because since they're made of silk that's falling apart, the Muck Maggots that infest every single corner of Bilewater would eat them alive. Grand Mother Silk threw her own child into the fucking sewers with maggots that would tear them into pieces, that's why Phantom can't leave. It's so fucked up
