Imagine a version of season 2 where Mike and El had never been dating but instead ended up as best friends and Mike was grieving for El but tried to move on with life and they ended up finding each other and he went with her to Kali's gang and Mike came back with a mohawk

when ur so obsessed with joe keery bro is basically the fc for all ur stories (2)
Does anyone else remember an official account (strangerwriters, maybe?) saying that the Party's outfits at the Snow Ball were hints to their future careers?
This suggests the writers discussed who they would grow up to be. But why even bring that up if it never makes it to the screen? We never see them as adults with jobs. There weren't even "where are they now?" style title cards during the epilogue sequences saying what each character did in the future.
A little thing, I know, but it's frustrating. I wanted to see who they grew up to be and then go back to their outfits to see how they matched up.
