Robbin is the author of four books: Fourfield: Computers, Art, & the 4th Dimension (1992 ),[books 1] Engineering A New Architecture,[books 2](1996),[2] Shadows of Reality[books 3] (2006) and Mood Swings A Painters Life[books 4] (2011), an autobiography.

Tony Robbin is a pioneer in the computer visualization of four-dimensional geometry. Since 1981, his realtime rotation programs of four-dimensional figures have been useful for obtaining an intuitive feel for four-dimensional space, and quasicrystal space. The original DOS and Microsoft Windows versions are available for free download from his website. An Android live-wallpaper hypercube, rotating in 4-space, is available for free at the Android market, or on his official website. (see external links below)

Visual agnosia is an impairment in recognition of visually presented objects. It is not due to a deficit in vision (acuity, visual field, and scanning), language, memory, or low intellect.[1] While cortical blindness results from lesions to primary visual cortex, visual agnosia is often due to damage to more anterior cortext such as the posterior occipital and/or temporal lobe(s) in the brain.[2] There are two types of visual agnosia: apperceptive agnosia and associative agnosia.

Patrik Huebner has done a lot of work with creative coding, creating art via code. This latest one uses Processing and a 2D physics engine to reinterpret typographical characters.

You don’t need to have lots of fancy new algorithms and AI to make computational art. Sometimes a simple idea is better.

Naked Labs enters the fitness tech fray with body-scanning mirror

Axel Cleeremans, one of the co-authors of the study, tells Quartz that the results have significant, and controversial implications. “In a way, the Nuremberg defense isn’t just about wishing to avoid blame,” he says. “It has some roots in actual subjective experience. And so it displaces responsibility towards people who are issuing the orders.”

 Of course, that doesn’t excuse their actions. “The notion of subjective experience is completely different from legal responsibility,” Cleeremans notes. It’s also possible that in situations where large groups are issuing or following orders, individuals’ sense of responsibility could collectively “evaporate”—a question he hopes to address in future studies.
