I make Milgram theories and I post whenever I feel like it. I don't have a (prefered) name, pronouns aren't a bother either, so please refer to me as you will.
Currently, I'm compiling all theories/speculations/ etc. for Milgram and creating a masterlist of them. If you have a theory you find particularly interesting, or if you have one you made, that you want to share - please do not be afraid to contact me with links! You can even send me screenshots of a particular YT comment.
I will update this post with the link to the Google Doc once it's all laid out. Thank you for listening out, and thank you if you ever consider sending a contribution (*^▽^*)
Edit: It's here! It's far from completed, but it's here :D
I love making it hard by saying I don't have a name/pronouns. If it's a problem, you can just refer to me by my handle.
There's a personal reason why I don't go by a name, but I also find it interesting what alternatives are used when a name is absent. There isn't need for a name for myself, I'd say.
The science behind names has always been fascinating as well. Even without a name, I'll still have a first-impression characteristic attached to it. Like how Johns are seen generic... You get the idea. But without a name I adopt something mysterious and formless. I find that idea sort of amusing.
This is just my musings. I'll write some Milgram theories soon
Oh god, I thought I had accidentally posted one of my drafts... A heart attack for sure. I'm writing a lot about Kazui, but organising these thoughts prove quite difficult. Please look forward to my many theories
Uwaaaaaa, Kotoko's birthday art is so pretty!!!!!! I love it so much ♡(´▽`*) her shoes sorta piss me off but that's Kotoko for you
Anyways! A little detail of hers that I've noticed!!
Notice the two dog tags? The reason why there's two specifically, is a refrence to how soldiers would wear two dog tags for easy identification of the person if they were injured or died at war. The stainless steel of dog tags could withstand harsh conditions. One would be worn at the neck and another at the foot, but Kotoko has then attached to her camera instead.
Speculation? I think this may feed into the theory Kotoko had someone close pass away, as she may keep these dog tags as a keepsake for the metaphor that that certain someone had "lost the battle" against the perpetrator (the one Kotoko is hunting). Or, for a simpler and more sensible speculation, it symbolises that Kotoko has/will be off to war against the person who wronged her.
Something I noticed is that the warehouse, in which Kotoko sees her victim kidnap a girl in person, is not where the ending scene is set in. Peculiar....
The warehouse has high-rise windows and vertical paneling on the walls
The room the final scene takes place in has lower, vertical windows. The walls are tiled
P.S., I adjusted the pictures by making them brighter, so the details are easier to see
GUESS WHO'S BACK! I doubt anyone recognises me but I changed my username and pfp. I was (indirectly) reccomended to use tumblr to upload my Milgram theories... and so I shall! Kazui is my favourite character now haha how time passes
Me and my fellow friend have deciphered the milgram font! I'm sure people have before us but I'll still share it with some of the words deciphered too.
First things first, here's the key. Thank you again to my friend who drew them out and ordered them
Due to it being inspired by the Latin alphabet, I and J share the same character, likewise with C and K, and U, V, W
Something important to note is that when 2 characters are merged, it means there is a space between those two characters. This makes it so we can make out where words end and start.
Now here are the deciphered sentences we've found:
Centre: "marglim" Banners: "los sitarelecs te rutiro"
Looks like gibberish. If you reverse the words however, you get:
Centre: "milgram" Banners: "oritur et sceleratis sol" (translated from Latin: "The sun shines even on the wicked")
•
This sentence is behind each character in the character trailer. We've chose Muu to make it easier to read
"every aint has a past anl every sinner has a future"
It's clear that they've purposefully mispelt (I.e "aint" should be "saint", "anl" should be "and"
Fixed: "Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future"
•
On the tags on the prisoner's suits, you can read their names. This was what we used to decipher half of the characters (only a few character names could we make out)
•
This brings us to Es who doesn't have their name written out. Instead we believe for it to read "reciffO nosirP" (Prison officer backwards) on their strap going from their shoulders to waist. And also "tse mudnatibud subinmo eD" ("De omnibus dubitandum est" backwards - translated from Latin: "Everything must be doubted") for the strip on their cloak
•
It's worth mentioning that when we attempted to decipher sentences on the website, we found that many of them contain errors and info/sentences already stated (e.g. the physical details of the characters behind them; "Think the sin, think the sinner" kept showing up, sometimes with mistakes)
•
While this hasn't appeared in the characters' song (except Es's), I think it may appear again in the 2nd or 3rd season. Even so, this font and the sentences will make it easier to understand Milgram's prison
•
Personal thoughts: I think it's obvious that Milgram isn't a place on Earth. It's not a real prison first of all, and the use of a Latin based scripture (Latin is a dead language) strengthens the point. I believe that it may be purgatory, where they are judged on going to heaven or hell from their sins

If you have any questions, please ask. Any corrections and inputs about it are appreciated.
Thank you once again to my friend for deciphering most of it, and thank you also to our other friend who helped us with correcting the Latin
