Another favourite for a very silly reason: I've always wanted to take a photo of a lighthouse like this, after seeing a few by expert photographers whose work I admire. I don't think mine compares to theirs necessarily, but it was a beautiful place, a beautiful day, and getting to take this photo is a beautiful memory of both as well as the achieving of one of my photographic goals.

This one was a view I caught on accident; a tucked away part of the path and a brief glance over, then a double take when I realised the composition of the shoreline and greenery was perfect! This is actually one of my top ten overall photos I've ever taken, and I've taken a good few!

This was my first time ever at a beach proper, and it was amazing. I'd never seen a beach like this before, had never been able to walk out so far with the tide out. For someone who loves the ocean, this was the coolest thing, in part because we could go so far out and I could walk in the water safely (long story, but never learned to swim so unfortunately for now walking the beach for pictures is as close as I can get!)
