It seems like you know them very well - almost as if you’ve met them… Have you?

Is that so? I’ve always believed faeries are pleasant creatures and completely harmless. What makes you think differently?

[izzy--lightwood]

Because I know the Fair Folk. And I've had my fair share of bad experiences with them. Admittedly, I've had great times with them, too, but that doesn't change the fact that they're all manipulative and moody.

I spotted a faerie in the back garden this morning. It greeted me a good morning.

Faeries are very tricky creatures. I suggest you stay away from them if you want to keep your head, mundie.

{Huffs out a laugh} No, worries Ms. Lightwood. The sun usually comes and pays London a visit. Just have to patient. Suppose I’m just use to it. It’s honestly not that bad right now.

[izzy--lightwood]

I guess I have to start getting used to the rain then. [she smiles slightly] And it's Isabelle. You can just call me Isabelle. I'm not from around here, so you don't have to be all formal with me. [she smiles] So, I'm thinking of going hunting since it has been a while, and I'm still not familiar with the city. Any idea where I might find demons lurking about?

My mother remarried. An Englishman of all people. So here I am. Is that so? I’ve heard plenty of America, but not its cities. U.S.; is that what people call it now? Oh? You’ve come from a far country then. What misfortune brought you to London? 

[izzy--lightwood]

Exactly that: a misfortune. I can't think of a better way to put it, and it's really rather too complicated to explain. 

Of all people? My, I believe you just put down an entire race. How brave of you. If you don't like him so much, why did you agree to come with in the first place? You could've stayed in Ireland.

Not practically, no. But if your lucky it’ll be a light drizzle.

I'm beginning to think London only has one season. And that you people never get to see the sun. The weather today is especially depressing. [she sighs] 

[izzy--lightwood]

Great. Just great. Does it ever stop raining here?

[samanthadunne]

I live in Ireland- I mean, I used to… There is the occasional shower and snow but nothing compared to this. I beg your pardon? New York? Is that in Yorkshire? And what is L.A.?

[izzy--lightwood]

Why did you leave Ireland? You've never heard of New York? [she smirks then mutters 'mundane' under her breath] Well, New York city is a city in the U.S.-- I mean, America. It also happens to be where me and my family live. It is definitely not located in Yorkshire. L.A. is Los Angeles; another city in America. I can't tell you much about it because I've never been to L.A.

I honestly don’t understand how people can live in these conditions.

You were born on the wrong side of the planet, then. Ever thought of relocating? L.A.'s always sunny, I hear. I wouldn't know for sure-- I've never been. The weather in New York's unpredictable, but definitely not as rainy as it is here..

I swear, if I step in any more puddles, I am never going to leave the house again.

Looks like you'll be staying indoors then. It doesn't look like it'll stop raining anytime soon.

I do. I know it’s even a little strange for me still. She’s 12. Oh wow. It seems even longer when you say it out loud. Mhm. I wonder where she could have disappeared to. If there was ever a time I was very desperate to have Gabriel here, now will be the perfect time. She looks more like her father than I do. {laughs}

Twelve? Wow. It feels as if it was only yesterday we were sent back here. [she chuckles] Would you like me to help you find her? In fact, I am also looking for Max, my son. He was here a few hours ago and he must have wandered off. 

Oh, I see. So fair-haired and green-eyed? How is Gabriel, by the way?

[she smiles] It's nice seeing you again after all this time. Well, looking for my son. Have you seen him? About this tall, with dark hair and blue eyes? And you? Do you still live here?

Most likely, at least it gives us time to bound with one another. Well, yes but it’s not demon hunting. More along the lines of hunting my daughter. Have you seen her?

Oh, you have a daughter? How old is she now? Unfortunately, I haven't seen her. Or, if I have, I wouldn't have recognized her. [she chuckles softly] Unless she's a copy of you then I wouldn't have missed her, I'm sure.

London isn’t as constant as New York but we sure do have a lot more demon activity than this.
