Sorry but you'll never convince me Tyler wasn't down horrendous for Wednesday from the beginning. I mean for starters whatever else he is he's also a teenage boy and a beautiful girl popped up in front of him, fixed his espresso machine, beat the shit out of his asshole former friends, and pissed off his dad just by existing all in the space of a few minutes. You can't tell me that didn't rewire his brain at least a little.
But also the way he looked at her even when she wasn't looking? The sheer amount of effort he put into everything involving her? Like unless Laurel was just in his ear constantly micromanaging his every move, which seems unlikely for various reasons, he definitely didn't have to do all that. And that kiss? The utter ADORATION in that kiss?? You cannot tell me that was fake OR that he was just starting to fall for her for real when he looked at her and kissed her and held her with that kind of tenderness and reverence.
And then the warning in the police station? Why would he tip her off that more was coming if he wasn't trying to protect her the only way he could?
Plus Tyler never once claimed or even came close to implying during their enemies era that his feelings weren't real or that pursuing Wednesday was some grand trick that she fell for. I think she understandably took some of his quips to mean that because that's how the situation made her feel, but if you think about it Tyler actually very conspicuously avoided ever going there even when it was the most obvious place to go.
And Wednesday is no better, she was breaking all her rules for that boy by episode 2.
