Stop complaining!
How do I get happy? One of these eternal unanswered questions of life. Millions of websites, tv shows, books, coaches, etc. are trying to teach us every day how we can live a happier, fulfilled life. Often these tips & tricks are very complex and based on major changes in our lives such as job change, relocation, separation from partners, friends or objects. In my eyes the most effective way to a happier life is also the simplest: Do not complain. Instead occupy yourself solely with the positive experiences in your life. Those who complain constantly about the negative experiences, will go through them repeatedly. If there hasn't been any positive experience in your day, then get busy with what can still happen today or with the next goals in your life. Concentrate on the good things in your life! Stopping to complain sounds quite simple at first glance. But it is trickier than you think. As with many other things, it is a matter of habit. At first you have to have strong focus and keep reminding yourself. Eventually our brain will forget the "complaining mode". That's at least the plan. I am now at day five of the third try...
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
