Hi everyone! As you could probably tell from the main, and the dash, Admin Ash and I haven't been on top of our game recently. After talking it over, we both realized that we're too busy to give this rp the love and attention that it deserves. We love Jabberwocky and want nothing but the best for it, and for all of you. You deserve to have admins that are there and able to be active consistently. Because we can't do this, we've decided that the best course of action is to close the group. We want you to know that we love all of you and want to thank you for making Jabberwocky such a special experience for us! We are planning on keeping the discord going because we love getting to talk to all of you (plus sharing all the book memes) and if you want to keep your characters going as a 1x1 you're more than welcome to do so! We love you all so much!

What jobs wold you like to see more of?

“Oh, well, I was raised by my dad – adoptive dad, technically, I suppose, but the distinction doesn’t matter at all. He’s wonderful, we’re very close. I went to Catholic school for a few years, and then I was homeschooled for high school. Now I’m in college, studying to be a teacher – early education. And I work here to make things easier for my dad.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

“I love to bake! Cupcakes are my favorite, and my dad says they’re what I’m best at, but I like to bake all kinds of treats. And I volunteer with children a lot. My dad and I have been doing it since I was younger. That’s actually why I’m studying to be a teacher.”

What is your favorite book? Why?

“I have this beautiful book of fairy tales from my dad. It has stories from all different cultures, not just the ones you normally think of, and each one has such lovely illustrations. I still take it out sometimes, if I’ve had a really bad day. Maybe it’s a little bit childish, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”

Do you enjoy working at Jabberwocky?

If no, what would make it a more enjoyable experience? “I do! The people are lovely, and it’s nice to be surrounded by so many cool books, even if I’m not dealing with them directly. And the customers are always really nice to talk to.

All Magic Comes With a Price...

It’s a saying that has been repeated time and time again, and yet it’s the one saying the Hatter always seems to forget. He decided not to attend the party, letting his “subjects” have a night of fun before continuing the work the next day. However, the magic that he has been using had other plans.

Despite it being a clear night, without a cloud in the sky, at exactly 9 pm a bolt of lightning hits the building - knocking out all electronic devices. The lights are off, the phones no longer work, anything that relied on electricity seems to be knocked out.

And then a minute later, everything reboots. The lights come back on. The music once again starts playing. The phones all reboot. Everything seems normal again. Until 9:03 - when everyone in the room gets a text message at once, each person receiving an individual page number - leaving them all with the same questions:

What does it mean? Who sent it? Is it a prank? Is something more sinister?
