So, in our campaign today, we've introduced two new characters, an elven knight and a human bard, an aasimir scourge. The bard's name is Jonathan, and his angel is named Akumu. Our party had snuck into a dungeon, where he was being held after using a charm spell to better himself. He distracted the guard long enough for one of us to sneak up behind the guard and kill him. After some discussion, we decide we need to hide the body. The bard decides to consult his angel to find where to hide the body. The following dialogue commenced: J: Hey, Akumu, where should we hide this body? A: You're asking me, an angel, where to hide a body. J: Yes. We're in a pinch. A: I'm an angel. I'm not helping you with this filthy task. While the bard is consulting his angel, the party'a barbarian talks to two of his friends and says "Can't we just hide it under the bed and cover it with the blanket?" Now, for some reason, our bard has the Talk to Plants spell, and a small cactus. This follows: J (to A): Alright, i'm done with you. I'm consukting the cactus. (The bard casts Talk to Plants) J to cactus: Where should we hide the body? Cactus: Hide it under the bed and cover it with the blanket. J to party: The cactus says we should hide the body under the bed and cover it with the blanket. Our monk heard the barbarian earlier and pipes up, saying "Oh my god, our barbarian is as smart as a cactus..." Our party bursts out with laughter, our DM hands our some inspiration, and we take a water break. Later on, the monk (having seen the bard talking to his cactus) convinced the barbarian (who is a fox based beastfolk) to convince the bard to let him see the cactus, using his puppy dog eyes. He beat the bard by one point on the roll and succeeded, immediately handing the cactus to the monk, who proceeded to shout "I insight check the cactus!", succeeded on his roll and questioned the cactus's ethics. The bard flew into a fury and pinned the monk against a wall with a knife to his neck after the monk had Said "I'm going to keep this for further investigation". The barbarian picked up the bard, telling him not to mess with the monk, and the party leader had to break up the fight. TL;DR: A bard has paranoid our party by talking to a cactus,and the monk questuoned the cactus's morals.
