Hello and welcome to me giving into my obsession with this character!!!

I'll be pulling from Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number, Payday 2, headcannons and me projecting onto Jacket.

Things are very different from Hotline Miami cannon though.

I'll be writing him as previously having just been a semi verbal autistic guy but now is mostly mute because a gunshot to the brain definitely isn't good for the language part of the brain. He can talk but it's unlikely to be understandable and it gives him headaches.

I'll be having him mostly communicate through a dictaphone, text to speech and sign language. The - represents the cassette tape sounds. As for why has not just writing shakey hands and the chicken man writing in chicken scratch is the explanation.

There's also gonna be references to pyro from TF2! This is because I have decided to use an au I made where pyro is put in both Hotline Miami and Payday 2

Her office's habit of moving around the building of its own volition made finding a quiet spot quite difficult at times. Luckily, there was an unused storage room nearby. Unluckily, it seemed to already be occupied.

Anamalech took a moment to look Jacket up and down, assessing him to see if she needed to leave faster than she had arrived. Determining him not to be an immediate threat, they speak up.

"So, this your place, or are you just hanging out for a bit?"

Jacket stares blankly for a bit before registering the question. He cocks his head to the side and grabs his dictaphone "-Did you know that 'Space Invaders'-" he pairs this with a shrug. He's not exactly sure what's going on but he seems to have claimed this space as his own.

"-who do you want to be today?-" he doesn't have all of his tapes but he's good at improvising. He points at you with his claw hammer, seems he's asking who you are.

Anamalech sighs deeply, more out of exhaustion than anything else. It had been a long day, and it was only just lunch break.

"I'm Anamalech. Pleasure to meet you." Her tone is polite, almost overly so, and is heavy with retail and customer service experience.

"-Hello Jacket-" he points at himself. He tilts his head again at her tone it's reminding him of someonething. He rubs the bullet scar on his forehead and tries to ignore the thought.

"Right, Jacket." She pulls out a packet of cigarettes, offering him one. "Do you smoke?"

Jacket nods slightly and takes one after slipping his claw hammer into a pocket.

Anamalech takes one for themselves, lighting it up before offering Jacket the lighter.

"So, uh, how did you end up here?"

Jacket pauses and stares at the ground, his brow furrowing very slightly as he tries to remember.

"-I don't think that's supposed to go there- " he shrugs and slips the dictaphone into his pocket

"Well, I guess I should have expected that. I don't think I've ever met anyone outside of the office who actually knows how they got here or what they're doing."

Jacket cocks his head and gets out his dictaphone again "-please proceed- -office supplies include-" he stares blankly waiting to see if he's been understood or not

"I'm sorry, but I don't get what you mean." They take a long drag of their cigarette, both before and after speaking.

"-information- -office-" he sighs softly in annoyance at not having his extra tapes with him. "-attention-" he puts the dictaphone away before signing at you "do you know ASL? What do you mean by office and people outside of it?"

Anamalech sighs in relief, signing back to Jacket. "I speak ASL, yes. And by office I mean the office I work at. The people outside of it are just anyone who isn't one of my colleagues."

Jacket watches carefully it's a bit hard for him to get his brain to focus enough to read your signing. "Do you know what this building is? I saw a cafeteria but it doesn't seem like a school or hospital"

Some of the more important or powerful people and entities seem to have things figured out, but people like me? We've just got to get used to the bullshit and try not to die because of it." Jacket stares blankly for a bit before registering the question. He cocks his head to the side and grabs his dictaphone "-Did you know that 'Space Invaders'-" he pairs this with a shrug. He's not exactly sure what's going on but he seems to have claimed this space as his own.

"-who do you want to be today?-" he doesn't have all of his tapes but he's good at improvising. He points at you with his claw hammer, seems he's asking who you are.

Anamalech sighs deeply, more out of exhaustion than anything else. It had been a long day, and it was only just lunch break.

"I'm Anamalech. Pleasure to meet you." Her tone is polite, almost overly so, and is heavy with retail and customer service experience.

"-Hello Jacket-" he points at himself. He tilts his head again at her tone it's reminding him of someonething. He rubs the bullet scar on his forehead and tries to ignore the thought.

Jacket nods slightly and takes one after slipping his claw hammer into a pocket.

Jacket pauses and stares at the ground, his brow furrowing very slightly as he tries to remember.

"-I don't think that's supposed to go there- " he shrugs and slips the dictaphone into his pocket

Unofficially, it's an interdimensional space with more bullshit going on than anyone could explain before the universe runs out of entropy."
