I swear like a week ago I saw Gemma Instagram story Jack and their friend Marcus carving or basteing turkey in their underpants for a Christmas party. If they’ve broken up, that’s extremely friendly and amicable. Hope the story isn’t true 😒

Whoops! Sorry so late but it appears that neither of the two admins (myself included) have checked this account in months…

Sadly, the story is true. They did appear to be super friendly with each other despite the break up which made us, as fans, happy as well. We saw those instagram stories too last year and were kinda excited about it at the time but now they seem to have completely moved on from each other.  Especially Jack (re: Brit Awards after party etc) and that’s fine. It’s good to know that they are still friends and cordial exes.

Career wise, Jack quit A League of Their Own and is currently filming his Youtube Training Days series and making a bigger name for himself on that  platform with collaborations with Youtube celebs like Sidemen and Marcus Butler. He also finished(?) filming the BBC/Amazon series Good Omens. We can also look forward to the 2nd series of Bounty Hunters on Sky 1.

Gemma is doing extremely well in her film career and has landed a big role in the new Disney/MCU Captain Marvel movie as Minn Erva. Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson and Jude Law also co star. Gemma has a few films coming out to theatres this year: Crazy Rich Asians, Mary Queen of Scots and Dear Agnes. Lastly, she has recently completed filming the Ch 4/AMC Humans Series 3.

If there is ANYthing new regarding them as a couple to report (kinda doubt it tbh)….we will post it here. Otherwise, we continually wish them the best in ALL their endeavors!

Comedian Jack Whitehall and actress Gemma Chan split after six years together

A LEAGUE Of Their Own is fast-becoming a lonely-hearts club. Funnyman and show regular JACK WHITEHALL has split from his girlfriend of six years GEMMA CHAN at the same time as nursing fellow panell…

We had secretly speculated/known for months that they broke up but now it’s sadly finally official:

“A source said: “Jack and Gemma secretly pulled the plug on their relationship but remain good friends.

“For the past couple of years they’ve both been finding it difficult to make proper time for one another and, with their schedules showing no signs of slowing down, have decided to go their separate ways.

“It’s sad but they remain supportive of one another.”

Jack and Gemma were one of the most understated power couples in showbiz.

I won’t be the only one thinking it’s a shame they couldn’t make it work.

We’re sad that our favorite British celebrity couple has broken up. But we’re  glad to know that they’re still good friends and remain supportive of each other.

We wish them happiness and much success in their professional and personal lives always.

Is it just me or do you think Jack and Gemma are a lot less public with their relationship than they used to be? Idk even just the Halloween photos you posted, like they always had photos together and now it's just Gemma with another guy :( And they used to tweet each other and be on Instagram together and now it's hardly ever?? Idk?

There’s nothing wrong with Gemma posing with another person other than Jack. Simply, their schedules may not have worked out for them to attend the same parties for Halloween this year or other past years. Or perhaps they didn’t want to be papped together for their own personal reasons.

Yes, they are definitely less public with their relationship but we really don’t like to (publicly) speculate why.  We (the admins of this side blog) have our own theories (oh yes we do!) but don’t want to turn this into a speculation blog. It’s their own private business as to why they are more hush hush about it. We can only infer from reading/watching their interviews, articles, stand up, etc about their seemingly joint change of mind regarding their state of demonstrativeness, or lack of.

Kinda curious as to what Gemma has to say about the drama surrounding David Walliam's Halloween costume as Kim Jong Un, seeing as Jack and David are close friends and I think Gemma and David are friends. Gemma was at that YellowFace protest. As a person of Asian heritage, I didn't find the costume racist or offensive. If anything David's mocking a dictator (a scary one at that). A little insensitive maybe but defs not racist. Whitewashing in media is another thing altogether. Not related to this

We cannot guess to how she felt about it of course. We (the admins) felt it was a tad insensitive BUT it’s a Halloween costume. People dress up as rulers/dictators/leaders during this time of year whether it be Geronimo, Obama, Henry V,  George Washington, Hitler, Trump, and yes, even Kim Jong Un.

Did you know Jack Whitehall is in a new play tomorrow (22 October), called Whither Would You Go? It is a one-night-only, with a never-to-be-repeated company of actors, at the The Harold Pinter Theatre in London. All proceeds go to the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR.
