Good day to get lost in some smooth melodies...

If you let them, squash will take over the world…
Carrot harvest today.
Too much consistency is as bad for the mind as it is for the body. Consistency is contrary to nature, contrary to life. The only completely consistent people are the dead.

This little guy is going to make delicious eggplant mash one day.
Today is a day to get blissfully lost...

Bunny Breakin' into the Bean Bed
A stealthy baby bunny broke into my garden this morning...but apparently wasn't a very talented escape artist...
It flipped out when I walked in, so I was going to open the gate and coax it out...but Sunnie caught site of it and started stalking the baby bunny from the outside, first slowly, then fervently chasing it around in circles (causing the bunny to run into my legs a couple times) until my antelope of a dog LEAPT the garden fence prancing around and terrorizing my beds. Needless to say, the baby bunny FREAKED and attempted to jump the chicken wire...only to fall tragically short and pathetically bounce back several times like off a wall trampoline. Stunned and terrified.
Luckily...my dad helped restrain our wanna-be-hunting dog while I lifted the fence to let it run free. I'm surprised the poor thing didn't die of a heart attack.
But....it did eat my beans...that little word-that-starts-with-a-b....
Nothing better than veggies straight off the vine.
The very simplicity and nakedness of man's life in the primitive ages imply this advantage, at least, that they left him still but a sojourner in nature.
Henry David Thoreau, Walden
I need to sharpen up my editing skills. I'm better at processing studio work, but I'd much rather get into more nature and architectural subject matter... Need to figure out how to take my photos from "nice" photos to art...
I should revisit this one in the virtual darkroom... Could be a fun one to practice on. Play up the lighting a bit.
Moose in northern Ontario.
Please take me back.... I'm yearning to bask in the creative environment that is the wilderness of Canada.
I will be like Henry David Thoreau. Pick up and move to be one with nature. I'm game.
To know that we know what we know, and that we do not know what we do not know, that is true knowledge.

Jack & the Beanstalk...
Just some twilight waterskiing. Nothing special, except an incredibly beautiful night in the north woods of Wisconsin. Grandma caught me on candid camera and is clearly overly proud. And Uncle Dick is saying "Aw, now that was better this time!" for some unknown reason. lol My first run I stopped a little farther away from the dock...so maybe that's what he was referring to? haha
Love my lake.

Now what you don't see is me roll over and just lay there floating like a dead fish for 15 minutes in agony. Didn't bring my knee brace with me. My body didn't appreciate that very much after my first run... And this was my second... ugh... so out of shape...
