This time I went for two blogs that intertwine with my spatial observation. I chose the blog of colehumn220 and Public or Private Space. Although, these two blogs contradict one another because one is private and the other is private. These two blogs go hand and hand. These two blogs feel strongly about their space in terms of declaring there space private or public space. Foucault, was the essential reference amongst these two blogs

When comparing post, colehumn220 and Public or Private Space, as I had mentioned before, spark a fundamental difference due to its declaration of private or public space. The mechanism in which they describe their space makes me recall, how I fundamentally declared my spatial observation space as a public and private space. My space is a mixture of both space combined together. Colehumn220, stated described her room as vitally important in her life; it is a space where she can be herself. She interprets her room from going to a private space to public space. On the other hand, Public or Private Space, she describes her space, which is the library as a public space but can soon be metamorphosed into a private space when alone. She goes on to claim, her space can change rather quickly. Although they claim different standpoints, these blogs mention the exact same thing, in terms of making the space go from public to private or vice versa.

These two spaces are much like my space due to the similar declarations they have claim for their spaces. Looking back on my space, I realized that my observation space is a universal space, considering it being a living room. Subsequently, the two blogs I have selected have a huge tie that connects them both due to its reference to Foucault. Overall, the two blogs I reblogged contrast my space but at the same time they intertwine with one another.

Keyword Post 6

I suppose my living room space makes me reflect upon Creon and his authority to say and do whatever he hankered after, in his ruling of Thebes. The reason behind that is this space evokes a feeling of freedom because nobody has yet conquered the living room space. Therefore, I feel so free to the extent in doing anything I would desire; I am the authority figure of my spatial observation space. I have the will to create the rules and norms for the living room space. This particular space can also go from public to private at a blink of an eye. Referring back to the reading by Foucault, when he mentions private space vs. public space. In my perspective my observation space is certainly meant to be a public space given that it is a living room but as soon as the guest depart the space soon after converts into a private space, where one can enjoy the tranquility, that precise space may obtain. Although Boethius was detained and held prisoner in a confined space, he finds himself conversing with lady philosophy. In this space, I am also able to find my own lady philosophy and hold critical conversations, like he did when trying to figure out the true meaning of happiness. Some key words that best summarize my spatial observation are freedom, comfort, entertainment, connection, and happiness. Overall, one lesson that will be forever impactful from this course is apprehending that each space has its purpose.

I decided to reblog tiffanyjordanne, Perfect Moments, and A Quiet Study Space. The reason behind these two selections is due to the great similarities and differences they have between one another. These two spaces do correlate with my chosen space. This time I have favored to depict these two spaces by stating that tiffanyjordanne is more of an outdoor space rather than Perfect Moments where as in this space the viewers are exposed to outdoor space but also indicates the activities that can be done in that precise space. The mechanism in which these two spaces intertwine with my spaces is in the matter of how the space is utilized and the juxtaposition my observation space contains. In my perspective, these two posts have merely close connections with one another due to its outdoor environment.

The blog tiffanyjordanne posted is solely contrasting my observation space by the virtue of her space being outdoors. I sincerely enjoyed the emotion that was produced by browsing through her slideshow. When I first took a glimpse of her blog, I noticed the horse. As a result, the blog brought back memories from when I was a child. As a child, I was exposed to horseback riding but I obviously rode behind a relative because I was too young to ride alone. I definitely embraced the nature environment that was being presented in this space. I adored the snapshots she captured of the horses and the background each horse contains. For instance, the first horse she took a photo of had a background of a lake and trees. Subsequently, each horse had a different location in the background. Approximately, my space and her space are environments of relievement.

In the blog of Perfect Moments much similar to the blog of tiffanyjordanne are in great unity to one another, the only difference is the location of the space. The post Perfect Moments, indicates a space of tranquility with a profound ambiance of nature. This space in particular is much alike to my observation space due to the similar activities that can be held in. For example, one of the snapshots she took displayed a yogurt in between her crossed legs, which demonstrates that this space qualifies as a space to have a snack and release any stress. In relation to my spatial observation space, which happens to be my living room also counts as a space where anyone who is welcomed can eat a snack in the living room with no worries. She also managed to capture the range of a stress free zone. The way she displayed a space for relaxation was by lying down on the grass. Looking back on my space, I realized that my observation space also strikes as a soothing space to de-stress oneself from an awful day. Subsequently, the two blogs I have selected have a huge tie that connects them both which is the outdoor setting. Overall, the two blogs I reblogged contrast my space but at the same time they intertwine with one another.
