I've been wanting to make sauerkraut since I first read Wild Fermentation in 7+ years ago and was overcome with some sort of inspiration when I saw some beautiful fresh dill at the store today. This is cabbage, red onions, red bell pepper, lots of fresh garlic an entire bunch of dill, some very thinly sliced whole lemons, and obviously lots of salt. It's still fermenting obviously but what I tasted was so good--we will see how it turns out in a week or two I think. #wildfermentation #sauerkraut
