L.O.V.E // Javannah Para
Despite knowing he liked her surprise, Savannah was relieved to get the final approval from Jackson. She grinned over at him as she heard the door close after he kicked it shut, though his cute little whine only made her giggle softly. Once they reached the bed and Jackson sat down, Savannah let herself be pulled down onto his lap, her slender arm immediately wrapping around his neck as she pressed her forehead gently to his. “That was almost a year ago already. Time just flew by but it seems like it was yesterday.” As he let go of her hand, that arm joined the other around Jackson’s neck, bringing him even closer as she pressed a soft kiss to his lips. “You don’t need to be nervous now. And you can call me your girlfriend all you want. As for the other one…we’ll see tomorrow morning.” Savannah had to blush at her own words. Where the hell did that come from?! Either way, the idea of wearing one of his shirts again made her grin even wider. “I’m not usually this straightforward but…I really, really want this with you. Because I love you.”
Jackson smiled when their foreheads were pressed together, looking right into Savannah's eyes. “Isn't that crazy? I mean.. almost a year ago and.. yeah, some bad things happened in between, but we're still like.. here. Or here again.” He didn't really know what he was saying now, especially not with her next words that made him raise his eyebrows. “Okay then,” he could only agree, trying not to grin too hard. Jackson kept listening to her, nodding along. He wanted this with her as well, more than many other things, but still, when she said she loved him, he was completely speechless. “I..” He practically stared at Savannah, the words she had just said taking him by complete surprise. Over a year ago, those three little words would have made him run. And when he thought of the last time she had told him, over half a year ago now, he remembered her practically throwing the words in his face. And worst of all, she had used them in past tense. Jackson shook his head, trying to shake off the thoughts. He didn't usually think that much, especially not in a situation like this, and especially not about words. Instead, he cupped both of her cheeks again and pulled her in to capture her lips with his in a soft kiss. Slowly, he pulled back, just enough to be able to look right into her eyes. “I love you too, Savannah,” he said quietly, almost not trusting his own voice.
