Autumn University Tour - Washington, D.C.
The JW Seasonnaires kicked of their week in the capital city with a relaxed visit to Georgetown and the beautiful Jack WIlls store, before embarking on a spot of sight-seeing. Before long, we were already fully acquainted with a great posse of friends (via the store staff) and off to our first party (in animal costumes of course) - a great night and surely the first of many!
The following 2 days we were up early visiting the University of Maryland (UMD) where we met loads of students all keen to get their hands on the limited promo gear. A quick tour around the campus included the largest quad in America, The McKeldin Mall, one of the oldest wind tunnels ever made and a sneak peak at the marching band practicing. We finished the day with the extended Jack Wills family at Bentley's Bar.
Georgetown University was the next stop where we crammed in as much promo/give-away/freebie/JW Pheasantry fun and games as is possible in one morning, which allowed us time to step into gear that same afternoon, for our mammouth party we hosted at Rhino's later that evening.
Our 3rd University visit was the George Washington University, where we yet again brought the pink and blue convoy (and British weather), to the students who spent the afternoon competing for gifts, meeting new friends and generally enjoying a good old chin wag! We managed to sneak a white trip to see the White House which was a really special moment.
An impromptu stop off at UMD, to tailgate the final football game of the season, was a great way to finish the leg of the tour. The Seasonnaires got to see the Terps take on the mighty Virginia Cavaliers at the magnificent Byrd Stadium. Finally we took a trip to the Lincoln Memorial which was definitely a highlight of our week here in the DC.
