Thomas wanted to mention something about global warming, but chose not to. He wasn’t a weatherman so he wasn’t entirely sure where this heat came from; even though he had an idea of it. The heat was not his friend, he soon found out after moving to a place where it actually got decently hot. “I sure hope so. I don’t think my British sensibilities can handle much more of it. We’re more the gloomy and rainy type of people.” He chuckled, he was excited for the snow, he actually enjoyed it much more than he thought he would. He hummed a little at the question as he thought. The question was a valid one, he thought. “To escape, I suppose. Try and start up new, small town America seemed like the best option.”
“Ah, yes. So the stereotypes are true then?” Jack teased with a short laugh. He’d probably do well in England’s climate, also more adept to the cool and rainy than the unpredictability of Colorado’s weather. “Me too, though. I’d much rather layer up than want to peel off my own skin with how hot and humid it gets but that’s just me.” Jack knew sometimes the weather conversation could be boring but it honestly fascinated him. “Well you picked a good place, other than the weather. Clearly. How long you plannin’ on staying? Years or just for a bit?” Jack was born and raised in Edgewater and couldn’t imagine leaving, as fun as the thought was.
