"Why are you at my house- actually, how did you even find my house?”

He lit Jack’s cigarette before lighting his own. The first lungful of delightful poisonous smoke was almost enough to make him hum in pleasure. “Might I ask where you base these observations? I find it highly intriguing as well as somewhat accurate, the mind can only take so much after all”
He shrugs and hums. "Just the way it seems to be. You can have the best life and you still end up on the brink of madness because you push yourself to conform to everyone else. And when everyone else has problems your brain makes up it's own as a comforting mechanism as if not having problems keeps you from relating to others, that along with the fact people want to complain about something." He breathes in the smoke before letting it slip from his lips.
"Well, You’re a master criminal with a clown-like appearance. But we both know you already know that. So..” He said with a shrug.
"Is that your job? Stating the obvious?" He grinned.
"Demeter, the goddess of the harvest? I can see the comparison, but I’d like to think of myself closer to the goddess Gaia, the personification of the Earth itself." Ivy stated, nodding softly. "Fiery? Well, Demeter did create the winter season when her daughter was taken from her by Hades. The lesson there: don’t mess with Mother Nature," She smirked. "It won’t get you killed, Joker and my help if you need it."
"Sorry my dear I'm afraid I only paid partial attention in World History or any class for that matter." He hummed. "No matter, I like to think I found my niche without school." He smirked and hummed. "Doesn't really punish whose responsible though does it?" He asked. "No matter, no matter." He nods and says, "We'll see.'
"Gotham’s goddess. I do like the sound of that,” Ivy beamed, lifting her chin proudly. “Yes, upsetting me would not end well for you, Joker. But do keep up with the sweet talk, dear. Flattery will get you everywhere in the long run with me.”
"Well you're like that one goddess. Demeter was it?" He hums. "But I bet you're a lot more fiery." He says. "What exactly will my sweet talk get me?"
"And what is?" He grins.

"Most of my patients are not the psychopaths the mass media has made out of then, they are ill and in need of care and medication. I assure you that sanity will always defeat insanity it’s only when one is at the edge that madness can drawn a mind within it’s own depths" he spoke calmly and looked curiously at the young male. "I am prone to isolation myself as well, I prefer small crowds rather than being overwhelmed by individuals, a form of introversion if you will" he spoke and wondered why he was sharing something so personal with the intriguing stranger. "Do you smoke?" he asked taking out a packet of cigarettes.
"I believe almost all of society is on the brink of madness. They all push each other there." He hummed and said, "I find I'm just better off on my own." He glanced over at the male and nodded, "Yeah." He took one of the cigarettes and putting it between his lips. "You have a light?"
"So it’s official then?" Ivy questioned. "You are, without a doubt, but I am too. I’ve had him wrapped around my finger plenty of times, Joker. And the two of us together, well, that’s something I’m sure Batman wouldn’t be expecting. We should however keep our little arrangement to ourselves though."
He grins and hums, "As do I. He's actually quite easily manipulated by me." He hums and says, "But of course Ivy. I'd never share our little arrangement with anyone. Wouldn't want to upset Gotham's goddess as well as its plant life."
"No… There main focus was on Batman, and a little bit of Superman. Speaking of, did you know that they got Channing Tatum to voice act as Superman?… Like, I knew he sounded familiar."
"But there is no me without batman." He squints and then cocks his head. "Channing Tatum. Whose that?"

"I don’t honestly know but I suppose a psychiatric hospital is not exactly a tourist attraction plus many tend to avoid the mentally ill as if mental illness is contagious like a plague" he spoke and looked up to the young man. "Nice to met you mr Napier, might I ask what brings you here? Or merely admiring the sights?"
He nodded and says, "I guess not. Mad people could drive you mad though. If they wanted to I suppose. I guess their too roped in their own madness to care though." He smiled and said, "Nice to meet you as well." He leans up against the building and shrugs, "Well like you said not many people come here and I like to be around very few people at a given time. I'm one of those loner types I guess you could say."
neuroticmalice:
She rolls on her back, chest heaving as another fit of giggles escapes past her throat. ❝You should feel flattered, puddin’, I learned it all from you!❞
❝Ah well if I had actually taught you half as much as you think you know, you'd be able to come up with your own lines.❞
"I wasn’t suggesting anything per say, Joker. But that is fruit for thought. Working together would be a lot more beneficial than being at each other’s throats. Well more so for you than me."
"I suppose I could agree to something like that." He hummed. "Though I'm not sure your right about that last part. After all you said I'm a good distraction for the bat."
“There are days when you make my skin crawl and days when I’m not in the mood to feed you to my plants or kill you with a kiss. We have a rocky relationship, I agree, but that makes things between us exciting and unpredictable. Don’t you think?” Ivy stated before cracking a tiny smirk. “Or do you prefer us to be nice and civil to each other every day, Joker?” She inquired, still smirking. “He’s weak to a point. He’s just not into taking lives like us, dear. But you’re useful to keep the Bat busy while I’m working so maybe I should keep you alive.”
"Are you suggesting we work as a team in exchange for not being poisoned or strangled by plants?" He said.
It felt like he’d just hit the ground after falling from a very high up place—but instead of smacking against cold pavement he was waking up. And oh, did his head hurt. It was pounding, and all he could manage was a grunt. He couldn’t process anything. Where he was, what was happening, nonetheless who he was. At least he’d gotten as far as figuring out that he was a human being who had just been unconscious mere moments ago.
Of course, he figured out enough within a few minutes, when he was more able to focus on the silence around him and try his best to think. But all he could piece together was himself, not the situation. Not at all. His eyes had only just barely opened, but he was still utterly dazed, none of his surroundings were clear at first. Feelings were, though. There was something preventing him from speaking—some sort of cloth, most likely a gag—and all he could do was grunt again and bit down on it as he felt himself being propped up against a post.
Even the smallest movement felt like someone was bludgeoning his head with a hammer.
As soon as the gag was removed, he sucked in a sharp, cool breath, exhaling a facsimile of jumbled ‘words’—probably questions. “Wh-What’s…” The rest was jumbled, but he coughed a few times and repeated it, “—What- What’s…going on?” He breathed, his eyes threatening to shut again. Where was he? He honestly couldn’t remember anything.
Oh how he loved to see them struggle a bit. He liked seeing them be confused. "Just keeping you with me for awhile and then we'll see." He grinned and gently caressed the other mans cheek with his knife. "Such a pretty face." He teased.
”—So what if Batman and Superman were in the Lego movie. I was in it too!…. For like five seconds, but I still think it counts!”
”Wait...was I in it?”
