Val ( 35, he/him, CST ) — i am usually around evenings into the early morning hours, and tend to lurk from mobile during the afternoon.

i also have dyslexia, which means i may typo/spell a word wrong or even misread something. always let me know if something’s not adding up or amiss. i do try to catch myself but things always fall through the cracks once and a while.

i’m perfectly fine with random starters/threads & pinging my character(s) in things.

be aware i am not the strongest plotter out the gate when it’s broad and everyone involved is up for anything. but i do and will try my hardest - i ask a lot of questions to narrow it down and it can feel like an interview and i don’t mean it too! my brain just needs to detail things out. my IM’s are always open for plotting regardless. there is a 99.99% i will be down for any idea or change you’d like to do, as i keep my options open and flexible.

i will never force a ship/smut on anyone! my connections/plots listed above are simple desires, nothing concrete. i do enjoy sexual tension, angst, drama, and banter best so i leaned into what i know i’m comfortable in. but chemistry should and will always win out.

Oh yeah, I've been doing it all. Something inspirational here about living in the moment or whatever, but I always find the best inspiration for my creative outlet when I'm out in the fresh air for a bit to clear the mind. The wine definitely just adds the silver lining to help me relax. And no one can really complain that we're without the heat advisories here either. I can spend my time in the air conditioning later. Hunger had been eating him alive since he stepped off the plane, proving skipping breakfast in his rush to get out the door and catch his lift to the airport had been a stupid idea. Bags dumped, he was taking full advantage of the more casual dining in the same clothes he had thrown on earlier - nothing fancy to not draw attention to himself as he knew there were lurkers around every corner.

Upon noticing a familiar face, he bumps himself from his single seat to join them where they were seated instead. A gentle tap on the shoulder to get attention, hands flying up to prove he meant no ill will and was not a stalker. "I thought I recognized your face," he teases, tipping the edge of his sunglasses down with a cheeky grin. "Didn't we share the same plane or is that a misremembrance on my end?"

I'd say I try to act as normal as I can but it doesn't always come off that way. I feel like I just end up looking silly.

My house is my safe space, so if possible, that's where I go to rest and reset. Or the beach.

Absolutely! I found out about through Instagram a couple months ago so don't feel too bad. I just figured getting back to working out post baby should be more fun. Oh I get that. I always get restless in between projects, thankfully that doesn't happen as much anymore once you have kids.

Even with my girls, I find myself needing to stretch and do things. And this bungee thing might be the ticket to get it out of my system -- but since you're also a parent, I think we should have a playdate sometime, yeah? What does yours like to get up to these days? Oh my god, YES! Patty & Bun hits different. It’s like they’ve cracked some secret code for burger juiciness that nobody in the States has figured out. Every time I’m over here I’m like, ‘Why does this taste like sadness compared to London?’ So no, it’s not bias. It’s science. Burger science. Honestly? When I’m in the US and the craving hits, I end up at In‑N‑Out. I know, I know, very basic. But it scratches the itch just enough that I don’t spiral into a full existential crisis about buns and patties. Shake Shack is cute too, but it’s still not that Patty & Bun level of sloppy perfection.
