The first Canadian team to place at Worlds was Cheersport Great White Sharks in 2007, they placed 2nd. It was their first time even being at Worlds. (wassup shescheercaptain)

At the last Worlds (2014) (and also in 2013) 3 Canadian teams won top 3 at Worlds in their divisions, the most medals a country (that isn’t the US) has ever taken home during one Worlds competition.

Team Canada Coed Elite AND All Girl Elite won ICU Worlds from 2010 - 2013. (We now have only Premier Teams)

Just like ANY country’s cheerleaders, Canadian athletes come in all shapes and sizes, and fitness levels. They work just as hard as American Cheerleaders and get less recognition from the “mainstream” cheer world. We are only just starting to become more popular. (holla GDubs)

I’ve seen so many sick abs in my cheer career though, from CANADIAN CHEERLEADERS.

Cheerleading isn’t very popular in most parts of Canada still, so we don’t have as many Worlds Teams as the US. But we are growing every year!

The Canadian Cheer World is super friendly and everyone is friends and it is literally like one giant family. We have “rivals” when it comes to competition but we’re all friends and hangout or text and stuff!

We’re all super nice and fun and don’t deserve to be shit on by a jealous anon with an ugly personality.
