Ro stood outside their house for what seemed like forever, just staring at it until everything started to blur together. She had done this almost every day since she got here, never making it farther then this spot by this large overbearing tree. Today was no different. She turned around. ready to flee from this when she noticed someone near her car. “Hey. It was a stupid assignment, completely pointless maybe - that was born mostly from the fact she didn’t think the objective was meant for her. Her photography class had been given the ‘10 no’ challenge. You ask people if you can take their picture until you had ten people who said no and ten who said yes. Apparently it was meant for people who were scared of rejection to build up their confidence - Sabrina however, didn’t much mind id people said no. The part she had a problem with was having to stay out until ten people said yes. Noticing someone in her periperal vision, she picked up her camera once more. “Hey, so this is for a project.” Starting with that seemed to make people more inclined to say yes, if nothing else it came off less creepy. “Would you mind if I took your picture? Promise it’s not going anywhere, and the only person who sees them is the instructor.” @legaciiesstarter

Laying in the grass with a good book was all Ro wanted after being stuck in her car all night but she had barely sat down when some girl asked to take her picture. “That depends. Can I make ridiculous faces or do I have to be all stoic?” She asked, setting her book in the grass beside her without marking her page. “Because I can make some really funny faces. My nieces think they are hilarious.”

as it was summer holidays for college which meant her internship at the law firm wouldn’t start up until she went back, the blonde turner had decided to help out with her dad at benny’s. bayley had done it as a way to earn some more money before going into her unpaid internship but also something to do throughout the break.

the blonde stood behind the counter, wiping it down before smiling warmly at the person before her, “can i get you anything?”

Ro’s anxiety had peaked about five minutes ago as she had stood in line debating whether or not to spend the last of her money in this place. She had been living out her car since she arrived and she was starving. That didn’t make spending the last of her money much easier though. “Whatever is the cheapest food item you have.” She answered, nervously switching the money between her two hands. “And maybe directions to a repair shop that might be hiring?”

“are you sure that you want to do this?” august said to the man in front of him. “making a wish always comes with a price.” the half jinn explained once again to the man before he nodded. “alright then ––– you’re wish, is my command.” he simply said before taking a breath and closing his eyes, granting the males wish, the man vanishing into thin air after it was completed, august opening his eyes and turning around when he heard someone approach him. “people really sure pay more attention to how they words things.” the man had wished to be on a boat in the middle of the water, probably thinking he was getting a yacht in miami, instead august put him in a tin boat in the middle of the hollow valley lake.

Ro had read about them when she had been doing research into her own origins, but she never thought she’d see one of those tricky little bastards with her own eyes. “his fatal mistake was wishing in the first place.” She stated, all the bitterness of her past few years apparent in the tone if her voice. “Where did you end up sending him?” she asked, her bleeding heart rearing it’s ugly head.

“i said knock it off.” the alpha shouted at two of his pack members, they both worked for him and had been arguing all day, bitching constantly and it was annoying the hell out of him. “if you’re going to fight then do it properly and use your fists, if not then shut the hell up.” he said to the two before turning his head and seeing someone walk into the auto shop. “something i can help you with?”

Ro Imagined as she walked into the shop she looked like quite the scared little girl. It wasn’t on purpose and in normal circumstances she’d probably walk in with her head held high, but truth was she was living out of her car Stuck in this stupid town and if it wasn’t here she’d have to get a job where her amazing talents would be wasted. “Are you hiring?” She blurted out. she had intended to be a bit more smooth and charming. “I’m a mechanic and I thought I would see if you needed any help, but you seem to kind of have a colony here so you probably don’t...”
