Had the two ever gotten an opportunity to meet? A-ya couldnât say that he recalled a chance meeting between he and the rather quiet brother of the man Izaya was always so focused on. Well, he was lucky for such an opportunity with the famous star now, but he didnât care much for the otherâs stardom. Something else was much more interesting to him.
âAh, youâre Heiwajima Kasuka-san, arenât you? Shizuoâs little brother?â
With jobs such as being an actor, it was hard not to be caught without having people interested in creating little articles for entertainment, or little gossips to throw people off. It was also difficult to not be known to everyone in sight.
He was approached by a young child who didnât look any older than fourteen years, calmly asking of his identity. He looked down, returning the gesture.
âI am, are you a friend of his?â

Izaya only smiles indulgently at that question. How interesting. âOur families have more in common than you may think. Though, I would say you should never hope to meet my family and find out⊠But I wouldnât exactly say youâre level headed. That is too moderate for someone as apathetic as you.â
Even someone like Izaya had trouble with his own family.. Suppose it was wrong to assume it was like the still water in the glass. It mightâve been a sensitive topic somehow. âI wonât pry further on it.â
"Too moderate.." There it was. The comment of his lack of understanding of other people's feelings.

It was nice to visit Kasuka every now and then. Well, he had to do it anyway. After living together so long, Milk got lonely if she didnât get to see Yuigadokusonmaru every now and then. Now she was here in Kasukaâs living room, batting at the other catâs tail while their owners sat and watched.
âLooks like they still get along,â Shizuo noted as he leaned back in a chair, âThatâs good. I was worried they wouldnât recognize each other if they were separated too long.â
Whether it was a visit to have the kittens play together, or a visit between the two, Kasuka didnât mind. After all, that time doesnât come everyday when both are working in most hours.
Yuigadokusonmaru himself was pretty excited to see Milk, joyfully following her and playing with utmost enthusiasm. Both of them were adorable, something enough to make any person feel relieved. Enough it brought a calm to his brother as well. How kind..
âMm. Theyâre quite intelligentâ or it simply meant they were closer than he thought.

âUnlike your brother, you are so unreadable, you know.â He laughed before his expression seemed to soften just a little. âOne day, Iâll find some way to melt that ice prince expression.â
âBrother..?â Right, Izaya was acquainted with Shizou, who had a rather negative outlook on the latter. Well, their relationship was certainly questionable. Shizou without a doubt is respectable, but mustâve been causing a lot of trouble to Izaya.
For some reason, this made him want to pry âMr. Orihara, if you were related to an expressive person, wouldnât you balance it out by being the level-headed one?â
He glanced away. âNo.. forget itâ

âHm, do you ever get so excited doing your job that you could just⊠Throw up?â He wondered, placing his empty hands in his pockets as he leaned back against the wall. âItâs always so hard to tell if you can be frustrated or thrilled.â
For a second he raised his brows before responding. He presumed anyone would be excited about something as that.
âI do.â It almost looked like a lie, just lacking intention of doing so. He did enjoy his career, if he were to be honest, the reason why he didnât find means to be looking down upon it.

âKasuka-kunâŠâ Izaya sang, watching the actor approach from one of his many photoshoots that happened to be in this location. Nothing but a coincidence. Holding out a glass of water for the Heiwajima boy, he smiled in a mostly friendly manner. âAn actorâs schedule is so arduous.â
They never said it was going to be an easy time. His glance was at the speaker, who only seemed more amusing than anything more. To be honest, he didnât mind how long it could be, or the difficulty, as long as he got the job done.
âIt could, however.. itâs not vexing, Mr. Orihara.â he took the glass with a small thank you.
( Hey-os, given this blog was already unaffiliated and just sitting in the dust of other blogs.. This blog would once more sit up and continue to be a non-WC one, so feel free to unfollow as well~ )

Shizuo was quiet for a while as Kasuka worked on patching up his injuries. Truth be told, the injuries themselves didnât bother him at all, but he knew his brother probably didnât feel the same way about seeing him with so many wounds. It was only after Kasuka had finished up that he spoke again.
âSorry about this. Wasnât expecting to get into a fight today. Iâll be more careful.â
âItâs alrightâ he finally said, looking again when he was done. If he had said it before, then heâll say it again, it couldnât have been helped. Whether it was his fault for being so violent, or even if he doesnât, heâs on the top of peopleâs hit-list
It wasnât like it could be stopped forever, would it. Not like he would die by something like this either
-Shizou and Izaya have a child to take care of-
-Iâm happy for the two of you, Congratulations-
âItâs⊠Just a scratchâ
Send me âItâs⊠Just a scratchâ for my character to tend to a wound on your character
He could say âyou need to be more carefulâ or âthis is nostalgicâ or even âthis is serious!â
Though, all he really said was a nod, as he tried to cover up the wounds on him. They werenât going to heal themselves, and it was a pretty bad one. It did indeed scare the living self out of him, but panicking infront of him wouldnât do anything.
His brother is always a strong man. And nothing will change that
If Izaya could only read minds, he would be cracking up. Being required to act like Shizuo by the brute himself just to work here? That was the wrong kind of cruelty. Oh, how amusing Kasukaâs thoughts of his brother were!
âAh, heâs sick as a dog still, yes. You should go home and take care of him before that damn flea goes and fucks something up.â He nodded curtly.
He really wasnât answering it, but it probably was something he was interested in doing. Maybe it really wa some personal thing not to touch basis on..
âAre you talking of my brother or Orihara-san whoâs illâ since heâs calling Shizou a âfleaâ as heâs now âIzayaâ and Izaya is now âShizouâ, if that made any sense. Surely âIzayaâ doesnât know of what âShizouâ is doing. He sighed, placing money on the table âI took your time.â he probably should be leaving âHe might not be doing well alone if he doesnât know where things are locatedâ
âI used to smoke in secondary, itâs nothing much. Just a bit of tickle.â
Although he spoke out of character now, he still kept up his general act as he turned to pour a shot for a customer. After all, he did have to do a good job replacing Shizuo for the night. Canât slip up!
Okay, no stopping him there. But there were still things they could talk about, such as..
âWhy are you acting like my brother?â surely there are no merits to being the bartender, even though it was possibly for humour reasons. Was this how he got the job? Thatâs a bit.. rough. Shizouâs kind of pushing it.
âAre you covering for him for being illâ or something like that? Thatâs a kind friend he has..
âI feel irritation but I canât be angry at the presence of my little brother. I wonder if Kahlua has the same effect as milk. Perhaps Irish cream.â
He delivered this line in his best imitation of Shizuoâs voice and twitching mannerisms. Smoke escaped his lips as he spoke, a weird feeling for a nonsmoker. Although he recognized the affects of the nicotine on his body, it was dismissed. Interesting. Actually, he did a rather good impression of his rival. Word content aside.
He was going to laugh at the attempt as he found it funny, but it only came off as a sigh, and a slight lowering of his eyes.
âYou are.. quite profficient at humourâ saying with a rather bored tone, even though he was trying to be a bit more positive about it, as it was pretty funny to see someone as smart as him inpersonate someone else in an immature manner. But he knows his brother, so someone pretending would either lead him to; going with it, or pointing out to stop âIf you never smoked before, I suggest you donât try. Its not good for youâ
( Ë ÂłË)â„ (idk anymore he's just here to bother Kasuka into reacting to anything)
Send me a ( Ë ÂłË)â„ for my muses reaction to your muse randomly kissing them
Now with his amazing misunderstanding of Izaya Orihara being in a relationship with his brother, Shizou, he thought âthey do look a bit alike, but this is the wrong personâ
He moved his face away with a hand, then pointed at the room to the side âShizouâs in there if you need him, Orihara-sanâ
But hey, a kiss to the cheek can just be a greeting.. no, just a misunderstanding
