Anxiety Attacks Are So Irrational.

Anxiety: HOLY SHIT THE WORLD IS ENDING.

Me: Wait what why?

Anxiety: NO TIME FOR QUESTIONS. TOO MANY PEOPLE. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.

Me: Oh, shit.

Anxiety: YOU’RE GOING TO PASS OUT…. YOU’RE GOING TO DIE.

Me: *In so much distress, shaking like crazy*

*20 minutes of hysterical gasps for air*

Me: *Slowly regaining control over my body*

Anxiety: Lol, why did you freak out like that? Everybody is judging you now… freak.

Sometimes, I know my anxiety is irrational, and I feel bad for being anxious- but I try to remind myself that I can’t control anxiety, irrational or rational; and just because it may not be rational doesn’t mean I’m not affected by it. 🌱
