"And I couldn’t live knowing that I’m the one stopping you from achieving your dreams.” Stephan teared up too, sighing and enveloping Jae into his arms. “You have to go.. With or without me. I wanna be with you more than almost anything. The only thing I want more than being with you is for you to be happy and achieving what you’ve always wanted.” Tears were falling from his cheeks as he pulled away, and he didn’t hesitate before pressing his lips against Jae’s passionately and meaningfully. “I love you so so much, Jae Hickman. But you have to go, you have to achieve your dreams.”

"But Stephan.." He voice broke a little, he couldn't do this. Jae rested against his chest, holding him tightly. "How can I go without you? Stephan... You're all I have." Returning the kiss hard, he brushed his fingers through his boyfriend's hair. "I love you too, I don't want to leave you, Stephan. You're apart of me."

"Jae, this place is going to help you achieve everything you’ve ever wanted." He whispered, setting the letter down on the side and walking over to his boyfriend, his hands stroking down his arms to take a hold of both his hands gently. "Look me in the eyes and tell me that it’s not what you want. Look me in the eyes and tell me you’re not only staying here, away from that, just for me." Stephan sighed softly, the guilt overwhelming him. "I’ll come with you. We’ll move, and I’ll come with you. I can get a job instead of college. I can’t keep you from this."

"No, Stephan, stop.." He shook his head, glancing to the ground. "I can't go.." Jae's eyes shot up to Stephan's as their hands made contact. "Stephan, please.. I can't.. I want to be here, with you..." He bit his lip, his eyes tearing up. "No. I can't ask you to do that, I won't let you give up on your dreams. I couldn't live like that."

Stephan was tidying the house for when Jae got home. He knew how much his boyfriend hated it when the place was a complete mess. He’d already done the kitchen, the living room and the hall, now onto the bedroom. Stephan rifled through the draws, sorting the trash from the important stuff when he came across a letter addressed to Jae. He didn’t mean to read it, it just.. Caught his eye. He read the words on the page and swallowed hard, blinking back a few tears. Stephan already knew that he was going to say to Jae, he knew it. He couldn’t be selfish. So when he heard the door open he went straight to his boyfriend, the letter in his hands still. “Jae..” He murmured, looking up at him softly. “Why didn’t you tell me about this? It was dated three weeks ago.”

Jae had been shopping. He'd was happy with his life, living with Stephan, it was everything he'd wanted from when they met. He had everything he wanted here, even if the college wasn't his first choice - it was where Stephan was. Walking back through the apartment block to his door, he pushed it open lightly. Jae entered with a smile, placing the bags on a nearby chair. The smile faded as he saw his boyfriend with the same letter he'd kept hidden in his hand. "Because it doesn't matter, Stephan.." He bit his lip. So what if he were offered ta place elsewhere, that would mean time away from being with Stephan. He couldn't do that, it wasn't fair.

[He pouts] But you love me being a bad influence. [He grins and kisses him back] I’ve had plenty of practice at school.. And nothing seems to be able to motivate me enough. [he smirks]

I do. I really do. [he chuckles, smiling into the kiss] I doubt the school could offer the motivation you need.

[Stephan laughs and wraps his arms around his boyfriend, kissing his nose] Someone’s feeling sarcastic today, aren’t they? [he teases before shrugging] I’m not that good. I can’t seem to get above a B for some reason.

[he smirks, hugging him tightly and blushing a little] I think you're a bad influence. [he laughs a little, stealing a quick kiss] You are, you just need some more practice. And the right motivation..
