The afternoon had been quite a success. His new stable hand showed good promise and had stamina. Sometimes a little help had been needed with a crop, but only educational taps were used up to this point. He felt tired but content. Soon he would sit on his sofa, going into the next stage of using his new helper. He would ask for a good glass of single malt, have his boots removed and enjoy a good foot massage.
