This guy is ready for the camera. Stay posted for the Indian Summer photo shoot spread!
The shoot was b-e-a-UTIFUL. i can't to see the photos!
I just finished the branding logo for wedding stylist Lindsey Brunk. I love how it turned out. I can't wait to see it on the website and business cards.
On top of being a styling genius, Lindsey also manages the social media for Availender, a marketing website for wedding vendors. Some of my calligraphy was just featured on their blog. You can see it here.
I am a firm believer in scrapbooking. I love social media as much as the next young adult, but I still need something physical for nostalgia/history/memories sake. I'm making this one as a gift for David. Throughout the volume is the beautiful poem "Here I love you" by Pablo Neruda.
Letter time for a special little lady! This envelope turned out to be such a looker.
Valentine's Day is gross...but deep down I love it. I made this Valentine from the packaging inside a chocolate bar from Redhook's Widow Jane Distillery. Even my boyfriend, who hates Valentine's day, will have to love it (well, we'll see..)
I just finished the envelopes for Jessica and Graham's Louisiana themed wedding invitations. These are two of the nicest people....ever. Their custom invites by Swiss Cottage are INCREDIBLE. It was such a pleasure addressing their envelopes. Jessica dropped these guys off at the post office this week--good luck buddies! Time to leave the nest and fly!
Some of my calligraphy was posted on Green Wedding Shoes today! I had a lot of fun making the signage for this shoot. I still cannot get over the beautiful set! The ladies from Patina studios are style gods.
Last week I got some AMAZING news! My calligraphy was featured on Style Me Pretty. What loveliness! I've attached some of the photos above. You can see the rest of the feature here.
Photos were taking by the lovely Becka at Pill Photography.
So..it's probably about time I get a website...and some business cards. Brick by brick.
Another wedding job complete for a LOVELY couple! Coral pink on blue makes me happy.
I got to collaborate with my friends on their incredible website Eleven Eleven. I had a lot of fun with the lettering! Check it out!
Pretty little mistakes. I had an ink splatter incident while working on some envelopes. I'd like to play around with this.
My first big envelope job is complete! The envelopes turned out beautifully. Now fly little birds!
The biggest pay off was the lessons learned in spacing and timing. Note to self--copperplate takes time! Okay self? Okay already!
A Birthday banner for my friend. Happiest calligraphical Birthday to you!
Getting her ready for a photo shoot!
Goodnight to you too cocktail sign.
Saying goodnight to some engagement party name cards. Sleep well little guys. Happy pressing.
