001. i keep to myself. so, i don't know who are the problematic (e.g. racist, xenophobic, etc.) individuals and groups. if i'm found interacting with any one of them, please feel free to let me know. with receipts, i'll immediately block and keep it moving. in the same breath, i do not like having followers that mostly have OOC and little role-play content. i understand we can get writers block and want to chill, but i'm really here to engage the writing aspect of this hobby, not read random OOC things that have nothing to do with anything.
002. i don't do duplicates. it's not insecurity, it just that i'm not interested in writing with other killmongers ( this case is different with some of my other muses, i.e., vegeta ). the only portrayal i deeply respect is my girlfriend's (see first rule). if you have him on your multi blog, i most likely won't follow.
003. i don't like following HIGHLY ACTIVE blogs that leave followers they aren’t interested in following them. I’m not here to build up your follower count and or read your role-plays as a non-follower. i took interest in your blog to write, so if i see that you’re active over the course of a week, posting practically every day for 7 days, i’m going to take the liberty and block your blog. it’s not personal, but this is just to make sure i don’t accidentally follow you again in the future. i can be forgetful, so i don’t want to make someone feel uncomfortable by accidentally refollowing them when they weren’t interested.
004. this portrayal is interwoven with multiple media sources ( mcu, comic, and what if's...? ). i prefer plotting if it's absolutely necessary. i can fit erik in any number of universes, so walking dead, star wars (by default, he'll likely running the wakandan intergalactic empire in any space-related themes), etc.
005. please cut your posts, do not reblog my headcanons, role-plays, over-stylize your writing and use large gifs/icons. be iconless in your responses to me, if you must. it’s just easier on me.
006. if you are easily offended by organic in-character antagonism, please remove yourself. one thing i cannot stand is when muns project their microaggressions through their character and i can easily tell when the character is completely out of character. erik is one of my offensive muses and i make no apologies for him, so if you're a writer that knows they can struggle with separating themselves from their character, then don't even bother with continuing to be a follower.

"Because it's incredibly difficult to accomplish." Wanda stated. "You don't understand how unpredictable these creatures are." She was practically an expert when it came to demons by this point. She knew what she was talking about.
killmonger isn’t moved by her condescending tone. weaving in emotionalism in the dialogue was counter-productive to the larger picture. a picture that still needed to be fully painted here, in order for them to make the necessary preparations. if anything, she was proving to be irritating from the lack of imperative details given on the situation. strange had stressed the importance of knowledge wanda bore, advising him it’d be wise to seek her out. at first, he wasn’t pressed in making a vital detour, if it meant dealing with a potential ‘threat’ faster. but if this goes on any further, he was going to have to make a quick call to the sorcerer, and call it off.
❝ give us something cohesive to work with instead of holdin’ us up with the bullshit, maximoff. ❞ he said, his tone unrepentant. killmonger wasn’t going to spare her his growing impatience. she should know better than this, considering her sordid history with this ‘demon of demons’. wanda knew the gravity of the situation, but she seemed more interested in wanting him to play with his imagination on the dangers rather than assist him in effectively extinguishing the problem. ❝ what are the places we can find ‘em, what’s his weakness, how was he sealed, where can we find what we need to seal ‘em or kill ‘em, how did you deal with him? ion’ give a fuck how difficult it is, my dear. what i care about is results. you interested in that or not? ❞
I say I'm at peace but it's still that same dread
It's a funny feeling like knowing your enemies is in the feds
It's hard to live when before you was dead
Cup bitter at the bottom, I had to learn to toss the dregs
Wanda crossed her arms. “No. All he got as a punishment was being sealed inside the same mountain I was experimented on at birth. Where he had given me my powers.” She explained. He had been sealed there long before humanity existed. “It wasn’t until a couple of years ago is when I made him bleed.” Her eyes turned red at the thought of her absorbing him into herself, keeping him bound to her soul, with the true Darkhold as the chain.
after listening intently to her explanation, he thought, we starting to get somewhere. killmonger leaned over from the comfort of the sofa’s cushioned support, his bottom-lip loosely rested over left index’s knuckle as he stared at her. ❝ so, he bled. ❞ she erected his point precisely. the underlying issue, from the sounds of it, was that there was none. he wouldn’t claim to be omniscient, despite his ability to exercise his own godship, he just knew not to make the horror aspects the moral and sit here, stupidly rattled of her 'invincible’ boogeyman by the way she started her tale. ❝ ol’ boy can be dealt with and was. so, help me see your problem with why that can’t be done again. ❞
❛ i cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. ❜
❝ hm. with all the 'brainy' muh'fuckas up in the c.i.a you got on speed dial, nun of 'em got the answers? ❞ there's little to no surprise he expressed in the inquiry. as his personal history would have it, there were areas in the organization that sustained a level of contradictions to the 'intelligence' part of its name. but if, by some chance, the agency did have the answers that she sought and chose not to share that information with a valuable controllable asset, then again, that wouldn't leave him shocked in the least. ❝ but if by 'anyone', you mean me, then i guess you would say that when you haven't even begun explaining it, "potna." ❞
@truedarkhcld | "Oh, how I wish he was." Wanda hated discussing him to other people. Especially ones who weren't familiar with magic or demonic creatures. "He was once a legend long ago, but then it turned out to be real. He was an Elder God. The demon of all demons."
❝ has the bitch bled in them stories? ❞ killmonger quizzed, his brow lifted in suspicion as he sneers. who do you think you talkin' to? was posed and etched across his features without needing to ask it aloud. the topic was perceptibly disturbing for her to touch, but this wasn't the time nor place to be possessed by archaic spookisms. coming from a place that strongly upheld his and his people's experiences and customs, hell is the earth itself. demons moved in smooth motion amongst them freely like water. yet, here he sat, chillin' like an afrikan that never felt a lick off a whip. his loc'd head canting, with a catlike focus that's anticipating the next part of this morbid fable-turned-nonfiction.
oh say can you see
by the blood in the street
that this place doesn't smile
on you colored child
whose blood built this land
with sweat & their hands
but, youll die in this place,
your memory erased
oh say, does this truth hold any weight
this is not the land of the free
but home of the slave.— jill scott, national anthem 2023.
“Yes, our languages, our idioms, our forms of expression may be different, the political, economic and social systems under which we live may be different, but art reflects a common humanity. And further, much of the contemporary art reflecting our times has to do with the struggles for equality, human dignity, freedom, peace and mutual understanding. The aspirations for a better life are similar indeed all over the world and when expressed in art, are universally understood. While we become aware of great variety, we recognize the universality, the unity, the oneness of the many people in our contemporary world.
Paul Robeson, “It’s Good to be Back,” Freedomways 5, no. 3 (1965): 374.
