Looking for an InZoi Legacy challenge that will help you feel less bored and more excited to play? Well here it is! With this Coffee themed legacy challenge you’ll experience the good and the bad with Zoi Life just like a cup of coffee sometimes it can be the most delicious, fulfilling thing to help start your day but a BAD coffee could ruin your day entirely. In this challenge you’ll watch your zoi fall in love, experience heart break, follow their dreams or chuck it all that away for a life of crime.

Gen 1: Café Latte ☕

You just moved to the city of Dowan, As you unpack your things you start to brainstorm ideas to make money, you take a breather and make yourself a cup of coffee then, it hits you. You want to open your own coffee shop! only problem is you only have 2k Meow to start with…every business starts somewhere! time passes and you’ve set up your own little coffee stall outside your house to earn some money, when one consistent customer catches your eye, this is where your legacy begins.

Characteristics: Go-Getter

Traits: Workaholic, Emotionally Needy

Ambition: Business Prosperity

Desired Life: Life of Stability

Skills: Baking,Coffee Craft,Rhetoric

Goals:

• Create a Café Business and keep it running till your Zoi passes away.

Gen 2: Caramel Macchiato ☕

As a kid you loved sitting on the counter watching your mum at work, you’d even get a free sweet treat while you we’re there so it wasn’t too boring! You have alot of respect for your mother and are very close with her, you help her run the Café until she passes, you then find out that your mother left her Business in her will for you to keep, sell or do with what you please. After your parents pass you decide to keep the Café running to honour your mothers legacy. Besides the Café you have other desires such as your Garden, when you’re not serving cups of Coffee you’re getting your hands dirty in the soil. its hard to find love when you’re busy 24/7 but you somehow manage to find it when you least expect it however its more complicated then you thought…your employees sibling always comes in orders their usually and throws a casual flirt your way, should you just ignore it or maybe give it a chance despite it feeling a little wrong?

throughout your childhood your mother was very busy and rarely had time for your interests, because of this you become very close with your father, if you had a school holiday your father would take you out for days out to the beach or sometimes you’d have picnics with him! as you get older you’re still close with your father but your relationship unfortunately starts to turn sour with your mother, why? because you do not want to inherit the café. Eventually overtime your mum comes to terms with your decision not to run the café your dream is to instead turn it into a Flower Shop as your used to Garden with your mother and father often as a kid!

I hope you all enjoy this legacy challenge! it's the first time I've EVER made one so any feedback is appreciated! I just really thought InZoi deserved a proper 10 gen challenge like Some of the Sims Games have! and I noticed their wasn't alot of InZoi challenges and if there is they only go up to 5 Gens or they're re-writes of the Sims Challenges, InZoi has been out for a whole year now and with the recent update bringing back players thought it was perfect time to publish this!

🌱 GEN 3: “Chaos or Control?”

Gen 3 is the wildcard, the generation born from two lines of strong will and emotional growth. But now, they face the ultimate decision: Will they embrace the structure of their family’s success, or will they throw it all out for something unexpected and wild?

🎭 BACKSTORY (build it in CAS):

Raised with love but constantly “under the microscope” (everyone expects them to be perfect, just like their parent(s)).

Traits:

One must be wild, chaotic, or rebellious

One must reflect what they feel is expected of them

🎯 GEN 3 LIFE PHASES

✨ PHASE 1: “Do I Follow or Do I Rebel?”

At the start of Gen 3’s journey, they are conflicted. They’ve seen how their parent(s) succeeded, but do they even want the same things? Or is the pressure too much?

Challenge Objective:

Move out (maybe this is a rebellion or a fresh start).

Pick a non-conventional career (something that goes against family expectations—maybe even a risky or controversial job.

Get into a public fight - to show they’re done with the status quo.

💔 PHASE 2: “Flirting with Chaos”

Your Zoi is flirting with chaos, which means they’re pushing boundaries—in relationships, career, and lifestyle.

Challenge Objective:

Break at least one serious rule (don’t pay bills for a while, start a forbidden romance, skip work/school for no reason, or throw an outrageous party).

Fall for someone "wrong" again, but this time, make it messier and more complicated.

The love interest should be polar opposite (e.g., bad reputation, taboo relationship, commitment issues, etc.)

A chaotic or passionate love affair with drama, but it has to blow up.

Have a public meltdown (maybe in front of their parent or significant other) to show how much they’re struggling to find their own way.

⚡️ PHASE 3: “Burn It All Down (Or Rise Up)”

Your Zoi has gone through some intense emotional turmoil. Now it’s time to rebuild. They’ll either rise like a phoenix—or just spiral further.

Challenge Objective:

Reevaluate life: Your Zoi must have a “midlife crisis” moment (even if they’re still young). This can involve:

A big career change or quitting a job.

A complete house overhaul (redecorate, change locations, or move to a new lot).

Throwing out something that represents their past (old relationships, childhood mementos, etc.).

Get focused: Max out one hobby or skill, but it should reflect a passion that is wildly different from their parents' choices.

e.g., they might suddenly be obsessed with yoga, street art, gardening, or fitness, completely shifting from their original path.

💥 PHASE 4: “The Chaos Is My Legacy”

At this point, your Zoi has either successfully rebuilt their life after the emotional turmoil—or they’ve fully embraced the chaotic path.

Challenge Objective:

Move in with a chaotic group of people (this could be a house full of other rebellious Zois, roommates.

Get involved in a major scandal (social media feud, career downfall, cheating scandal, etc.). This could affect their relationships and career, but it’s all part of their rebellious journey.

💘 FINAL ROMANCE: "Fated or Cursed?"

Your Zoi has seen their parents’ relationships, the messy breakups, and the healing that followed. Now, they’re ready for love again—but it will be complicated.

Challenge Objective:

Fall in love with someone who embodies the opposite of everything your Zoi’s been through.

If Gen 1 & 2 had toxic, messy relationships, Gen 3 should find someone calm, supportive, and trustworthy.

The goal is to make sure their relationship is healthy, but with a twist—maybe they struggle with commitment or communication, forcing Gen 3 to learn something about themselves.

🌈 FINAL LEGACY CHOICES

At the end of Gen 3, your Zoi decides whether to break the family cycle or pass it down:

Option 1: The Rebel Legacy Your Zoi decides to embrace the chaos fully and pass on their wild spirit to future generations. Maybe they have a child who’s even wilder than them, and the legacy continues.

Option 2: The Healer Legacy Your Zoi decides to finally settle down, make peace with the past, and give the next generation something more stable. They break the pattern of chaos and find balance.

Option 3: The “Forgotten Child” Legacy Your Zoi goes off the grid and leaves everything behind. They become a forgotten figure in the family history, but one whose legacy is marked by their choices and the paths they didn’t follow.

Okay - are you ready for Gen 2? I hope you have had a fun time doing Gen 1!

🎯 GEN 2 LIFE PHASES

✨ PHASE 1: “My Own Name”

Your Zoi wants to be more than “their parent’s kid.” It’s time to stand out.

Goals:

Move out (alone or with roommates).

Try at least 2 jobs before committing to one.

Start a side hustle or skill (art, music, writing, streaming).

🖤 PHASE 2: “I Don’t Do Love (Until I Do)”

Your Zoi says they don’t want love like their parent had—but fate has other plans.

Challenge Options:

Try to stay single but accidentally fall for someone.

Or: Start as a hopeless romantic, but attract ALL the red flags.

Or: Keep up a string of flings while secretly wanting connection.

In-Game Goals:

Have one unhealthy relationship (short-lived, too fast, or emotionally unavailable).

Write a journal entry, letter, or paint something about it.

Break it off before it crashes your life.

🔥 PHASE 3: “Power Era” (The Core of Gen 2)

This is the glow-up. The rise. The career moment. The self-love chapter.

Goals:

Max out 1 skill and reach Level 10 in your chosen career or get rich through non-traditional means.

Redesign your home to reflect you now (new art, upgraded kitchen, new wardrobe).

Reconnect with your parent. Go on a trip or do a parent-child bonding activity (fishing, yoga, etc).

💘 PHASE 4: “The Real Thing”

They’ve seen the wrong loves. They’ve tried to avoid it. But now... the right person might be here.

Romantic Requirements:

The partner must be someone you didn’t notice at first.

Slow burn only. Friends first.

First kiss must happen after a deep convo or emotional moment.

If your Zoi has a child, the partner must bond with them before anything serious happens.

Tasks:

Go on 3 dates, one of which must be not romantic (coffee, walk, game night).

Build a couple's creative space (band area, art corner, cooking patio, etc).

If it’s real: move in, get engaged, or just build a shared life on your own terms.

🌈 GEN 2 FINALE: “Legacy, but Make It Mine”

Your Zoi has healed the past, created a future, and defined love on their terms.

💫Episode 1: "New city, New me"

🎭The setup (CAS):

Your zoi is moving to the city to start over after a mysterious incident. Choose to live in either Dowon or Bliss Bay.

Choose one aspiration that reflects what they want from this fresh start (career, love, freedom etc.)

Give them two contrasting outfits:

One for who they pretend to be (polished, confident, city-ready)

One for who they really are (vulnerable, quirky, dramatic, cozy etc.)

📸In-game task:

Take a photo of your zoi arriving at their new home.

Build a small starterhome, worth 20.000M. The remaining M can not be used until episode 3.

🏙Episode 2: "This Wasn`t the Plan"

Your zoi starts a job, but something throws them off.

💔They fall in love with someone completely wrong for them.

"Wrong person, right vibe?"

The setup:

Your zoi is trying to focus on work, dreams, and fresh starts...but then they meet them. The person who throws everything off.

Rules:

This love interest must oppose your zoi`s personality or goals in some way. For example: your zoi is tidy - the love interest is messy and chaotic. Your zoi is career-focused - the love interest is a flirty drifter. Your zoi wants kids - the love interest says "no thanks".

They can be a coworker, neighbor, customer, or even an NPC they meet randomly. The more inconvenient, the better.

🎯Challenge objectives:

🌪1. Build the tension

Interact daily until there is at least a mutual crush

Have a negative conversation (argument, disagreement, jealousy, awkward moment)

💬2. Keep it a secret

Your zoi and their love interest can only meet up in your or their home, or at evenings in the park.

In-game task:

Create a “secret date spot” somewhere on the map (a hidden lot or cozy room). Decorate it like a hideout. Take a photo of you together to hang on the wall

🎭"This can`t work"

Your Zoi must:

Try to break things off at least once.

Experience a sad or uncomfortable moment because of this love interest (e.g., they flirt with someone else, bail on plans, or say the wrong thing).

🎬Trigger a life moment after that:

Give your Sim a “self-care day” (yoga, new outfit, journaling).

Build something to represent their inner conflict (a painting, a messy room etc.)

🍼 EPISODE 3: "Now It's Real"

Your Zoi, despite all the drama, ends up having a child with the love interest. This changes everything.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

👶 Have the Baby

The child must be from the original love interest.

Take a family picture— the vibes/poses should feel different (uncertain, bittersweet, dramatic).

💔 The Break Point Soon after the child is born, the relationship falls apart for good.

✅ In-game:

Break up or divorce officially.

One Zoi moves out

Take a photo of the breakup moment or aftermath.

🧼 Reset Your Life Your Zoi enters their "Clean Slate Era":

Move to a smaller or cozier home.

Get rid of at least 3 things that remind you of your ex.

Add 3 new things that represent your new identity (plants, mood lighting, fresh wardrobe, etc).

💪 EPISODE 4: "Me, Myself & Gym"

This is the redemption arc. Your Zoi’s building a new life and working on themselves.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

🏋️‍♀️ Level Up

Get Fitness to Level 10 or max out one skill (music, art, cooking, etc).

Create a “me zone” at home: gym corner, yoga deck, painting room, gaming den—whatever feels like you.

🚗 Get the Car, Symbol of Freedom

Save up and buy a car.

Take a “freedom photo”: your Zoi standing by the car, smiling or leaving the house confidently.

🎨 Optional:

Do a solo hobby photoshoot (your Zoi with their painting, lifting weights, in the mirror looking fire).

👶 Parenting goals:

Bond with the child regularly.

Build a “parent & child” space at home (reading nook, play corner, shared project, etc).

Have a family picture together one the wall

💘 EPISODE 5: “Someone Unexpected”

Your Zoi meets someone new—but this time, it’s easy. No secrets, no games. Just respect and vibes.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

💌 Meet the New Love Interest

They must be opposite of your ex. (e.g., calm where the ex was chaotic, loyal where the ex was messy.)

Get to Friendship 50% before Romance.

Go on at least two dates before the first kiss.

Let them meet your child early on. If the child dislikes them—your Zoi has to take it slow.

💍 Optional:

Build a romantic rooftop, garden café, or city-view balcony for your new dates.

🏁 FINAL GOAL: “The Life You Built”

Your Zoi has made it through heartbreak, single parenting, personal growth, and found love again—but on their terms.

🎯 Endgame Checklist:

✅ Memory board with:

A photo from each life phase (toxic love, the baby, solo era, hobby wins, new love).

✅ House includes:

A dedicated space for your Zoi’s hobby.

A safe, creative or playful space for your child.

🥖 Gen One — Buttered Toast

Young Adult

Your legacy begins with Buttered Toast, a warm, mellow soul whose life motto is simple: “soft music, soft lighting, soft living.” Their wardrobe is all browns and soft yellows, like they were dipped in sunshine and café woodgrain.

They move into a small wooden home—nothing fancy, just something that smells like pine and safety.

Today I’m celebrating my 25th birthday. This number scares me, because I feel like I’m in a constant race for something, but I’m trying my best to accept the fact that everything is going the way it should. Haha... anyway... I love giving gifts a little more than receiving them, so I want to make you happy with these autumn-vibe screen replacements. Thanks to @ellesimsworld, without whom I wouldn’t have been able to share these main menu backgrounds with you.

P.S. It would be a birthday gift for me if the main menu replacement doesn’t break after the September 18 update.
