so i went to The Host...

omfG i can easily say i am now obsessed with that movie!

I LOVED IT SO MUCH AAAHHHHHH 

i read the book what was probably years ago when it came out and so when i heard they were making it into a movie i was pretty excited although i had sort of forgotten what it was about.

but oh my god. personally i think its 2345167289593876478548783537658459304 times better than twilight, the storyline is amazing and perfect and yes they cut some bits out but the book was really long so it makes sense. 

the cast were all flawless.

Diane Kruger was actually amazing being portrayed as a bad guy!! and Max and Jake were perfect and super hot <3 

although when i heard Saoirse was in it i was sort of like uh oh at first, cos after having to watch The Lovely Bones in media about 5 times when i was 14 i could only associate really horrible and disturbing things with her....but now i can safely say i have another girl crush. she's perfect. i love her and all her irishness and she's a A+ actress. (i think i'll finally be able to watch her other movies now)

and then Emily Browning happened. i basically shit my pants because i forgot Wanda ended up with her own body. and when i realized it was Emily Browning i almost died bcos every time i see her face all i can think about is The Uninvited. ((((so that's two girls from two movies that still mentally disturb me to this day in the same movie))))

but yeah in a nutshell it was great, and if you're not a Twilight fan then don't rule it out straight away just because it's by Stephanie Meyer. 

I definitely would recommend it :)
